Fairfield The Original Poly-Fil Premium Box, 20 Lb, White

Let me preface this by saying that this was life changing for me, largely due to chronic pain from an accident, which also led to uneven furniture wear. When a drunk driver hit me while I was crossing the street, then left me for dead roughly 5 years ago, several metal plates were put into the right side of my face. Everything changed drastically after that, and one of those things was a new tendency to lean, or slouch in the opposite direction of where the plates are. The other issue is that one of those many plates is around my right eye, so even the softest pillow can feel as though it’s pushing the plate in. What wound up happening to all of my pillows and furniture was uneven wear. My furniture still looked brand new, but the couch cushions and throw pillows all looked somewhat deflated on one side, and it became difficult to sit on my couch due to the uneven wear. It seemed like the only sensible thing was to buy a new couch, new throw pillows and even a new mattress. Looking online for other solutions to this problem resulted in discovering Poly-Fil. It made the most sense to get a 20 pound box so that it would be there whenever it was needed. After taking a chance and ordering it, my girlfriend and I began taking the zippered couch cushion covers off and filling in the bottom area where the uneven areas were. Then my girlfriend made small incisions into the throw pillows and stuffed those with Poly-Fil as well. To say that this was a game changer would be a huge understatement. Once we sat on the couch, it felt brand new again, and my nerve pain wasn’t increased due to lack of soft plush pillow and couch seat support. At that point, the pillows that would normally be replaced every 6 months were filled with Poly-Fil as well. It was so amazing that anything we could find that could handle extra Poly-Fil was also stuffed. Poly-Fil is literally heaven in a 20 pound box. It’s strong, yet soft, and the pillows that would normally be thrown out for new ones every 6 months haven’t needed to be changed in well over a year and a half. Just the feeling of having soft, cushy support back, and realizing that even with my new tendency to lean to the opposite side of my accident plates could be addressed for roughly the price of a large popcorn and 2 movie tickets at a BTX theater is absolutely incredible. This is worth every single penny because now my couch and every pillow in my apartment feels and looks absolutely brand new again. My concerns of having to buy a new couch aren’t even a passing thought anymore. While the pillows still feel new, every once and a while I add more Poly-Fil to one side of each couch cushion to maintain its shape and comfort. Poly-fil is definitely a five star, game changing product me, and its saved me from having to buy a new couch, as well as an all new pillow set every few months. It’ll never get rid of my chronic pain, but, when sleep is possible, for the few precious, sometime random hours when rest is possible, that time feels absolutely heavenly.

The versatility of this products is near limitless. I use it for my dogs bedding. I make extra extra large floor pillows for my huge old English Sheepdogs and it’s a life saver to be able to order in bulk. This polyfill is thick enough to handle the body weight which is one over 100 lbs and one close to it. I use the entire 20 lbs for each bed. I don’t wash the polyfill I toss it and wash the cover when it becomes soiled. The quantity you get for the price makes this affordable . I also use it for other crafts. The quality has never let me down over the years. I love that Amazon offers this at such an affordable price now and I don’t have to wait for a coupon from other stores.! Build a 3 foot by 3 foot archery target. It took a few of these boxes but this stuff is great at stopping arrows. I guess you can fill pillows and bears with it as well but that’s not as fun

I use this poly-fil for all my amigurumi projects and love it's softness. The more you buy the greater the value. I have ordered it several times and am never disappointed. Watch out when you open the bag inside the box as it will come out like a giant popcorn, fun! :-)
