Artist Quality Acrylic Paint Set, 12, Assorted [24-2498 Count] - Exclusive Edition

Used in an art class I teach for the first time and EVERY single piece had crazing (cracks) when dried. Might be great for elementary students, but NOT artist quality paint.

The seals on all of the bottles I've opened so far do NOT seal the paint into the bottle! The seals, it seems are installed upside down so the seal is actually made to the underside of the cap... just as good? No! The problem is the caps are flip caps so that you can squirt out paint, but you have to dig out the seals to be able to use the squirt caps.I believe the poor seals are part of the reason others have complained about broken or spilled bottles in transit. On the other hand the box is pretty heavy and dropping it isn't going to be good for the plastic bottles even though they do seem pretty durable.Otherwise, I find the paint is of pretty good consistency and color. Needs some dilution with your favorite pouring medium or water to be used for paint pouring.My only other regret is that you don't really have much of a choice in color. I doubt I'll ever use the peach color, for example, but for the price, I guess I don't mind!The image I've shown is all Sargent paint (Red, Black, White, Turquoise) except for a silver and gold metallic paint I used from another manufacturer. All were thinned with Floetrol and a little bit of water.

I like this paint. However the bottles banged into each other. The blue bottle opened and got dented and got paint all over the other bottles. Add a piece of cardboard between the bottles to prevent this.

I did not like the paint at all, the colors, the consistency or performance. I did not expect this to be of so poor quality, I will find something else--more suitable for acrylic pours.

I will continue to buy my paint thi way from now on. Saved tons of money and this is quality acrylic paint. So many colors too, very pretty

This paint is good for any kind of artwork, however, it is thinner than some other paints I have used so if you are used to a thicker acrylic paint it may take more coats. Overall these are great.

Very pigmented and works beautifully with acrylic pours. It has a good consistency. Not having to add so much water (with floetrol of course) really alllows the colors stand out. The colors blend nicely and mixing custom colors are a breeze. The great pigmentation helps the paint stretch when mixed with mediums. This is a great deal for twelve 16oz bottles of paint that can be tripled in volume! I will continue buying this brand for my bulk acrylic needs.

1/2 the orange paint is all over everything. The lid was barely on.

My wife is using this paint for acrylic paint pouring, she mixes it with Floetrol, works really great!

Good colours, lots of it too. The black is so thick it is like molasses, but a little goes a long way. All freshly made (2-3 months old tops). Excellent for pouring, good for painting too. Mixes into medium quickly. The seals suck on all the bottles, don't come off cleanly and require a bunch of picking/pulling.

Really like the colours but every time I make a Painting pour I get about a 1 out of 8 chance of the pour turning out good. Reason for this is because a lot of the colours arrived really dry so when I try and do a pour, the dry bits in the paint warp the image by running off super fast and it just looks really messy and hate to say it, but really ugly. It doesn’t matter how long I mix the paint for, the dry bits mixed inside the paint look goopy and gross.

I bought it for paint pours. I haven’t used it for that purpose yet so can’t give a review in those regards, but the kids are loving it. Beautiful colours. Good consistency.My 9 year old daughter when asked if she likes it says ‘Ya, I LOVE it!’ My 2 year old had fun mixing his favorite colours, red blue and white to make a beautiful purple masterpiece.Also, I saw other reviews where the bottles leaked so I was worried. Ours arrived perfectly packaged. No leaks and the paint was sealed in a plastic bag, surrounded by paper inside a box within a box lol.
