We've had this massage gun for about four years, and it still works great! Even though we don’t use it often, I’m really impressed with how long the battery holds a charge, even after long periods without charging. It’s been a solid and reliable purchase. Also, the box is perfect for using it as storage because it just keeps everything in place!

First, I had to do my own independent review. I compared many different models, focusing on durability, power and cost, which led me to buy the M9 Pro. Let me share my initial experience.How to buyEven though I knew what I was looking for, as you can see from the picture of the box, the name M9 Pro is not the first thing catching your eye. So if you want to purchase this, look carefully at the photo because the M9 Pro’s name is not in the item description.The box/caseIn my search, many message guns come with carry cases, this one only comes in a box with good fitting slots for each attachment.AttachmentsIn all, there are 5 attachments, with a user's manual describing generally how they are used. Personal experience while using the wishbone shaped attachment is that it needs to be used carefully when going up and down the spine, avoid hitting the spine directly as this might hurt some.Noise/comfortListen to the short video I made, this unit is very quiet and the handle is nice to hold with hardly any vibration.BatteryRight out of the box, I was surprised that the unit was fully charged with a reading of 99. The battery charge shown is digital and as the unit was used, the reading dropped from 99 down to 80 and then down to 60. So I was a little surprised I did not see it did not drop down progressively, i.e. 99-98-97. Overall the charge does seem to last a long time, however, the higher the speed the faster the drop.PerformanceThe M9 Pro’s best feature is its power, it doesn't bog when pressed hard. When using more force to push down on a body area, the unit keeps running smoothly. It doesn’t slow down or even stop running like some other message guns do. This unit has 6 speeds which can easily be adjusted while holding it with one hand. The display is bright and clear and can be seen in any lighting. The M9 Pro is a solidly built machine, and I fully recommend buying it.

Great battery life, consistent power, everything I hoped it would be!

It’s heavy and definitely too loud to use at night/anywhere quiet but besides that it works as intended. The basic attachments do what they need to.

We really needed to get us a good massager. I tried a few I found on Amazon and returned them. But this one, The M9 PRO massager from Orthomax is really the best I have found. We all enjoy it, and it does a good job working out our sore muscles, aches and pains.Here is what we like about it:Super whisper quietTrue Cordless usePlug-in Charge cord, not USB.Long lasting battery (I have only gotten it down to 60%) with 2 full body massages.Easy Off/OnIntensity levels are 1 through 6 (1 is very low and slow, 6 is deep and strong)A great selection of heads for every kind of sore.The Air cushion head is hands down a favorite, and not found in other brands that I have seen. I used it in the video on my son’s back.My sons say it feels like a chopper flying over our house. Deep to the core feeling.The handle has a good grip.It is a well made quality tool.Other things to know know before you buy:The Massager is on the heavy side due to the large battery. Estimating it is around 2 pounds.It will turn off every 10 minutes as a safety feature. You just turn it back on.No case comes with it, but the box it is sent in is adequate for storage and nice enough to gift.I fully recommend this massager for yourself or a gift.Made in CHINA

I first have to admit that the looks of this particular massage gun when compared to others is what got me at first. After researching what I wanted in a massage gun in terms of size, speeds, attachments, etc., the only thing I often found lacking in other similar options were in the looks department. To be fair, though, this is one of the more reasonably priced massage guns that has more than three speeds - it has six - so it was also leading in that category alongside looking like a professional tool.I'm not a fitness fanatic, by any means, but I like sports and generally keeping in shape so a year out from doing much of any physical activity meant I tried jumping right back into things at full speed. Of course, that was a bad idea and resulted in lots of sore muscles. In the past, I had been looking to get a massage gun but I decided I definitely needed one now and the M9 Pro has definitely delivered.The six speeds means I can find the appropriate setting depending on the situation and I also found that the included "air cushion head" is a great all-arounder. My only negatives would be that I wish it came with a carrying case and maybe a future version could swap out the wall plug for a USB-C charging cable. The last point was what nearly swayed me to try out another product, but the number of speeds and design of the M9 Pro ultimately won me over and I'm glad they did.This is definitely a worthwhile massage gun given the price, features, and great-looking design. I will update if I have any issues with it, but it has been awesome so far!
