The set I received was poor in quality
The set I received was poor in quality. The rails are uneven and the train derails on the straight tracks . Wouldn't recommend Amazon delivery was prompt within the time window mentioned

Great starter set and fast shipping.
Getting into model railroading for my retirement. Ordered it on a Monday afternoon. Received it Friday morning in Atlantic Canada. Shipped same day.Fast shipping. Came well packaged. Set it up and worked awesome out of the box just have to take time putting the track together properly. Full speed forward and reverse........no derailments. Don't know what all the negative comments are about. User error I'd say. Not really meant for young children I don't think. Didn't realize it came with steel track so I ordered another train set with nickel silver tracks as there are more options for track expansion. Going to set it up to run three trains :-) This seems like a quality set for the price, lots of detail on the engine and cars. All in all very happy!!

Solid train
Awesome starter train. Easy to set up. Perfect for my 8yr old. Has been running solid. EZ track also makes it simple for kids to put together. Extra small pieces are rather pointless. Plan on getting more track!

Very nice starter train set. Durable locomotive that reliably runs on the provided EZ track. Set comes with phone poles, signal bridge, and people.

Good set it didnt comecwith rail joinerd
I like it but engine can really only pull the cars it came with.need rail joiners to put track together.i had them.overall nice beginner set
