LaRue Tactical IndexClips, 72 Piece Set Quickly find where your optics need to re-attach. These handy low-profile clips were designed to be attached on the rail, against optics, lasers and other MIL-STD-1913 mounted accessories, providing a quick-index to return to the same point...especially in the dark. Each set comes complete with 72 total clips, 60 regular and 12, designed to hold tapeswitch wires along the rail's edge. LaRue IndexClips are easy to install, and stay-put until pried off (a Dillo's foot works really well for this). Several clips in a row can be used to protect a length of rail, and feature a non-slip surface.

Absolutely Love These
These are awesome! They look good and feel good. They are hard to get installed but I ended up using a hammer and a slight tap and they pop on without issue. I will recommend these to my friends for sure as it removes the need to buy pre-sized covers and have to cut them. The OD matches Magpul's OD very well.My only gripe would be that they come with 60 regular and 12 others (8 hook and 4 pin or something like that) which are used to run wires for flashlights, lasers, etc. I did not need the 12 others and wish there was an option to substitute 12 more normal ones if the other ones are not needed. Not a big deal at all though!

Great protective covers for your rails
Picatinny rails have sprouted on all sorts of things. Rifles, pistols, staplers, coffee cups. You know the drill. Anyway, while the rails are great for hanging all sorts of equipment on your gear, I call the rails DNA scrapers. And, most of the time most of the DNA being scraped off is mine.So I like to put IndexClips on the rails to keep my DNA where it belongs, on me.I recommend using a non-marring tool to put the clips on and take them off, although whatever works is a right answer too. The instructions are clear and concise so if you follow the instructions you won't have any issues. Probably.Do these things hang onto the rails? Heck yeah! They're great. I haven't had one unexpectedly pop off yet. YMMV, however. I really think how well these perform has a lot to do with how well the rail and the clips fit.

Larue Tactical IndexClips, 72 Piece Set work and fit as advertised!
I purchased these for a few reasons, and was a little apprehensive based on some of the negative reviews about them being difficult to put on the picatinny rails. I found them to actually be quite easy to install by putting them on one side of the rail, and then push them over and onto the other side with my thumb. They may or may not make a clicking sound indicating they are mounted properly, but you will feel them seat properly if you do it right. I also found that using a standard bottle opener on most knives these days will easily disconnect the clips. The nicest part is the several clips that have the wire connector, and the hold down connector on the clips to help with remote switches for lasers and flashlights you might mount on the rails. This is definitely worth the minor expense, and makes the rails look good while preventing you from rubbing your hands raw from handling the weapon by the rails. Very nice, very low economical. The only issue I had, was I had too many of the clips for my weapon, so I gave the remainder to a friend for his weapon - paying it forward to another is never a bad thing, right? Cheers!

Great way to cover unused rail sections
I've completed most of my planned rifle builds recently and wanted to cover the sections of rail I won't be using. I've played the game of buying long panels and cutting them to size, that can be hit or miss. These provided a nice option for smaller sections of rail.As of now I have used them on an AR-10 style of rifle. I have used them to cover unused rail sections, but also for indexing optics. I have a QD scope for the rifle, and use these clips to mark off where the scope is supposed to sit. I can quickly attached the scope without having to count rungs on the rail to ensure I have it in the right place. They add a bit of comfort as well, as the edges on some picatinny rails could be used to saw wood. I will say they are not the most visually appealing thing I've seen on a rifle, but I didn't build it to win beauty contests and they fit the purpose I intended for them.It also comes with a few clips that have hooks on them for wire management. I don't actively use anything with wires, but I have an old light and tried them out on it, they worked well. They grab the wire tightly and allow you to route it in any way you want. All in all it was a good purchase and I can recommend them for anyone who wants to cover unused rail sections, or for indexing attachments like scopes, foregrips, and bi-pods.5 Stars total:+5 Stars for functional product from a good seller. Much better than expected
I got these for my new AR and although i was slightly skeptical when I ordered them they are much better than I expected. Although looking at them it would seem at first that they can just be fitted into the rail slots and pushed on it is not that easy. I used a small hammer to tap them into place after I got them situated. They don’t come off easily either, I put a couple on wrong and had to use a flat-tip screwdriver to pop them off. They provide a pretty good non-slip gripping surface and are much more comfortable than an uncovered rail. I only had one clip break while I was installing them and that is because I applied a little too much uneven torque to it while trying to remove it.I have to say that I am pretty impressed with the clip system as it is much more versatile than other rail covers as you can cover as much of or as little of the rail as you want while being able to leave uncovered space for mounting accessories. If you are looking for a versatile, convenient method of covering the rail system on any picatinny rail equipped weapon you cannot go far wrong using these clips. They are priced right and easy to use and adjust to whatever need you have for them. I highly recommend these clips.

A bit expensive, but I like them.
I gotta say these look great on my AR. I bought the OD. They come in a box with one page instructions and a bag of 60 regular and twelve special wire holder plastic clips. They are very comfortable. I haven't shot the rifle with them on yet, but they look like they'll keep the heat away. I had no problem putting them on my 1913 fore-rails. I needed a couple taps of a rubber mallet with a couple of the clips, but most went on by hand. Very secure. I like that they are individually installed. It gives you a lot of customization options. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is the price. We are talking injection molded plastic. At ~$.50/clip it seems a little over priced.
