Outdoor Security LED Flood Light-lights of America- 3000 Lumens-30 W-Very Bright

Brighter than 1000 suns! ok, perhaps that's a bit of an exaggeration... but this thing is fantastic. I just purchased a home in the country, on an unlit street, and getting out of the vehicle in the evening and into the house is no small feat. This lights up the entire yard, and allows me to see my front door exactly as I was hoping.The installation was super easy, and took me about 10 minutes. I would recommend that you either get some silicone, or some kind of rubber gasket to stick between the base of the light and the electric box, as the base is a flat piece of plastic, that has no way of sealing out the elements. a few minutes with a caulk gun and a tube of silicone made sure there would be no chance of moisture getting into my wiring.The fixture is super light, but feels like it is well made as far as LED fixtures go. It is entirely made of plastic, so I would be hesitant to install this anywhere that it might receive knocks of any kind, but for the money, I just don't think you can beat how well this lights up an area. The cool bluish-white light penetrates the darkness perfectly.

The main purpose of the purchase was the replacement of the older model which was broken by my son hitting it with a basketball. I used to have the older model but this one with LED lights is much stronger, same wattage. It lights up my backyard at night time, automatically, such that the whole backyard is lit which is what my purpose was for safety purposes. Easy installation. Great product.

This is one bright led light! I put it on back of my house to light up the back yard after the bulb in my yard light went out. This is much better. It's brighter and shines way farther back. Did I mention my electric bill dropped big time! I'm going to get another one to put on the upper side of the house. Also this has been through some very heavy rains and storms with no problem at all. Get you one of you want a bright light and to save on the electric bill!

I bought this as a security day/night light to install over the garage to shine light onto the driveway and have used it for a couple of weeks now. It provided more light than the 2 flood lights it replaced. I liked that it is bright and cool white light, previous lights I have purchased from a local hardware store are more expensive and not as bright.The light fixture is made of a thinner plastic so I am unsure of the longevity. I had to buy a different wall plate to screw the base in as maybe my base was installed incorrectly. It looks like there is two screw holes on the base where the pole connects but one does not let you unscrew the cap as you could just flip it. I liked that the LED light was easy to install.Overall I am very pleased with the light, although a little thicker plastic would give me more confidence for the long term. I would buy again and will look for other products made from Lights of America. I did not receive this product discounted or free, nor was this review sought after.UPDATE: 3/2017 It's been about 9 months and have not had any problems and seems to be holding up so far. Love the brightness.

Brightness is okay. but the life is short, it’s stop working in 4 months and after warrantee period we can.t return and don’t get refundAmazon should take the responsibility

Bright, made of plastic.Very large. - wife not a fan of this.Poorly designed mounting system.Can only adjust up/down unless you decide to mount the whole unit at an angle.No left / right adjustment or swivel to level out the large lens.Has daylight sensor on the top of the unit offset to one side.As I have it connected to replace a back yard light it is on a switch which works fine but there is about 1 full second delay between flipping the switch and the light coming on, it turns off immediately. I suspect this delay is due to waiting on the ambient light sensor to determine if it is dark or not.contains 90 SMD style LEDs and I would say the output is around 5000K color temp. (a bit whiter than standard OEM HID lights on modern cars)The mounting base comes with 2 pre-drilled holes on an angle of about 45 degrees. the screw holes were too far apart to mount to the electrical box I have on the back of the house (built in 1998, replacing rear yard light).Doesn't come with needed parts to actually mount the light, came with 2 screws and 2 square nuts that were almost 2x larger diameter than the included screws were. Had to salvage some light mounting hardware from the old outside lights I had replaced on the front of my house to be able to mount this.No grounding wire as mentioned.

I’ve been several of these lights over the last few years. Zero problems and very bright!

These lights are very bright and economical to use, and usually last a long time. They also come with a 5 year warranty, however if you do encounter a defect, save yourself time and just throw it away and get a replacement. I have 3 of these lights on my property, and have had one go bad after three years, packaged it up and sent it to the address of the manufacturer, and have been completely ignored as far as warranty service goes. The problem I have is shipping it already, I have nothing to send back to Amazon to try that route to get a repair or replacement.
