Very good tea flavour - I add milk of course. Yorkshire Gold a close second, but I was very pleased with Barry's. Tea bag flavour just cannot match that of using loose tea. Also, $3 cheaper here per tin, than buying at the local World Market.

I am an avid tea drinker, and Irish Black tea is my favorite of all the different blends of black tea. Usually I drink Twinings Irish Breakfast Tea in the tea bag form because it is simple and convenient. Recently I’ve started to drink loose leaf teas (other brands included) and decided to give my favorite brand a chance. Twinings of London Irish Breakfast Loose Tea tastes exactly the same as the tea bag format – it is simply delicious! It's a blend of the same fine black tea expertly selected from Kenya, Indonesia, India and China. I place 1 teaspoon of loose tea in an infuser basket inside a 30 oz teapot and fill with freshly boiled water. I brew for only 3 minutes as it is very strong in caffeine content. It is delicious with the addition of milk or cream and sugar. It has a lovely amber color with a bold taste and a smooth finish. What I did not like about Twinings Irish Breakfast loose tea, was the quality of the leaves themselves. There are no discernible leaves! The leaves are all crushed or milled into fine indistinguishable pieces. This was hugely disappointing even though it did not take away from the flavor of the tea itself. Overall Twinings of London Irish Breakfast Loose Tea truly delivers a robust full-bodied cuppa! Grade A

At the risk of being summarily drummed out of the country, I will admit that I do not drink coffee. Love the aroma of it, but never learned to love the "burnt beans" flavor. Tea - hot or cold - is much more to my liking! The people in the UK know tea. And the people in the UK who can afford to drink the very best tea, Her Majesty and the Royal Family, drink Twinings. Twinings offers a number of different blends: Irish Breakfast, English Breakfast, and Darjeeling are my favorites. (I understand Her Majesty drinks only Early Grey, but the addition of bergamot to that blend is not, shall we say, my cup of tea.) Each has its own flavor-profile, as well as different levels of caffeine for each - every one splendid.

I brought this because I love the taste of the tea, however, the tea looks like ground coffee not actual tea leaves. I can’t even use the loose leaf strainer. Very disappointed

My favorite tea. Add a little blood orange for a great blend. Happy to find this in bulk, wish it was larger though since my cohabitor helps himself.

I bought this for my wife to have with her scrambled eggs and salmon, at breakfast time. She really likes the flavour, especially with a little bit of cream in it.
