Smaller than they look.
I dislike the generic description of the size (“One size”) of the irons. A more detailed description would have been very helpful. Especially stating the inside dimensions, or that it would hold a full slice of bread without having to cut the edges off, if that were the case. I did not see the “One Size” in my initial order, otherwise I would have kept looking. I will be sending these back & purchasing bigger ones. Hopefully this helps others in their decision making. Thanks.

Keep shopping!
Very disappointed. We brought this camping and no matter how hard we tried to get the bread not to stick (buttered tye bread and the iron, buttered just the bread, buttered just the iron, etc.) every sandwich stuck. Part of the issue was it doesn’t fit a standard slice of bread. Our friends had a different brand and it fit the bread better and didn’t stick.

Broke after one use
I was super excited to give these to my sister in law for Christmas. She was excited to get them. But when we went to use them on the campfire, after only one mountain pie made, she went to make a second, tried to close, and the tab that hooks one side to the other completely broke off. Makes me wonder if it was actually cast iron.

Absolutely perfect.
We took them camping with us the weekend after we recievedthem. They worked great. Good quality/well made.I'm very happy with this purchase. These are 10x better than the aluminum/crappy ones we bought at a big box store. These are heavier (cast iron obviously), & well made. The handles aren't exceptionally long, but I don't know of any others on the market that are longer. They're easy to use and there is a locking S hook that keeps the halves together while its in the fire. Our kiddos had fun making their own personal toasties. We made pizza mountain pies, grilled cheese, & toasted PB&Js. Clean up was a snap. After allowing them to cool, a quick wash with warm soapy water and they're all set for the next meal. They're absolutely perfect.

Small
We had 1 pie maker in another brand and I needed to buy 3 more. These were the cheapest ones (and they have dropped $5 each since I bought them.😒 ) Like others have commented, these are on the small side. The bread didn't quite fit in as nicely as the original one we had. They worked okay, although we need to practice not burning everything. Lol. Didn't have any problems with sticking since I buttered the bread like usual. They are heavy, which is good. We used them for one weekend camping trip without any issues, so we'll see how they hold up over time.

Does the job!
Nice heavy cast iron, well seasoned. It's slower to warm up but also less likely to burn the pie than my other (aluminum) pie iron. A bit smaller than my other one too, but maybe that's by design, so that you can get nicely crimped edges. My only real complaint is that it's hard to latch closed.

Wonderful! Used to make pizzas up at camp
Wonderful! Used to make pizzas up at camp, along with an old one that we already had. This one took a bit longer to cook them, but they didn’t burn and turn into a charcoal-like globby mess, like when we used the old one. Beautiful sandwiches! Ordered a second one

These seem really nice. They are cast iron so are heavy. I haven't used them yet but have used these irons in the past and I know we will enjoy them. Brings back camping memories!
