Arm & Hammer Peroxicare Deep Clean Toothpaste, 6 oz (Packaging May Vary)

I originally purchased this toothpaste for my son who as many teen boys could be casual when brushing. I needed a toothpaste that will be working harder to compensate for that. I have been purchasing it for years now. The baking soda taste takes some getting used to, but the results are worth it. Even though it is not designed to make your gums healthier it does that too. Also gently whitens your teeth. Arm and Hammer Peroxy care is an affordable and effective toothpaste.

I love this toothpaste, have been using it for years, and I get good marks from my dentist. Not the greatest tasting, but not the worse, either. I love that it has peroxide, a great disinfectant and baking soda, a great cleaner.

I was looking for a new toothpaste, I've tried a few as well. I wasn't too pleased with the others, then I tried this. This really cleans my teeth and has whitened them. It makes my mouth feel fresh without that strong, minty flavor (like other toothpastes) that seemed to just mask everything. I don't think it tastes bad, it's a bit different but I like how it's mild. This is now my favorite toothpaste.

My dental health used to be decent -- I have never had many cavities but I did have a lot of plaque build up. However, after using this toothpaste, that is no longer an issue. Check ups are going very well now, and it seems that a few cavities that were forming on the surface have stopped. Be warned that there is little to no flavor which might take some getting used to. Ships very quickly.

It’s a great toothpaste— slightly abrasive and refreshing, I get the best clean out of this paste. Buy it at Walmart or target though, it’s pricy on Amazon.

Avid user of this toothpaste because there really isn't much better for your teeth and gums than baking soda mixed with flouride, it's a simple solution that just works. And the mint flavoring is good without being overpowering. This toothpaste doesn't give you that "showered mouth" feeling that aquafresh does, which I used for years previously, but it does feel good and more importantly, it's the best for your teeth, enamel and gums.

I bought this because A&H discontinued mentadent, and recommended this as the closest replacement. Wish I had read the reviews first, to prepare me for the shock of the taste. No getting around it--it tastes terrible. Seriously, it tastes like seawater. After brushing with this, the tap water I use to rinse my mouth out tastes like sweet nectar in comparison. I guess it "works" ok, but it's toothpaste; does it need to taste so bad? None of the others do. I never got a cavity using anything else, and I don't expect this will improve on that.

It took me a while to get adjusted to the taste of Arm & Hammer, but now both my husband and I only feel satisfied using this brand of toothpaste. It does help when people ask you "Why are your teeth so white?" Well, haha, thanks Arm & Hammer for doing your job. I find the PeroxiCare's taste and cleaning effectiveness to be the best of the different Arm & Hammer kinds out there as the taste is not too sweet (as I find Crest and Colgate are) and I don't get a stale taste in my mouth after brushing (as I sometimes get with the Complete Care type and other "natural" toothpastes like Tom's of Maine.) We now live in Malaysia where they don't sell Arm & Hammer toothpaste, and we must say we miss this toothpaste terribly!
