I took a chance on ordering this lamp when there were no reviews. A very similar LANCOSC lamp had very good reviews, so I thought why not? Maybe it's the newest model. :)To sum up: I really like it!The magnifier has a large area without distortion. I haven't had any trouble getting my items into focus. Light is bright enough to help see the magnified area without being blinding, but I do have the brightness all the way up. I always use it with the mixed cool/warm white light. The only thing I would wish for is a dust cover, but a small cloth is doing the job well right now!I wanted a lamp that would fold up enough to be out of the way when I didn't need it. This fits the bill! I can stretch it horizontally about 30 inches, and it folds up nicely over a corner of my table. I clamped it to an IKEA Linmon table top. The clamp is definitely secure. Since there's no base to take up table space, it has a very small footprint!I was a little disappointed that I couldn't swing the lamp at the base, but I can move it a little bit if I loosen the bolt at the base. I've been using this lamp for several days now, and I don't miss that movement! I was able to clamp it in a spot where I can pull it out straight and then adjust the angle with the head of the lamp.At first, I thought the light might not be bright enough, but I was using it during the day. It definitely lights up the item you're looking at through the magnifier, though. And in the evening, it was the perfect amount of light for close-up work. I think it's better this way -- it's not spreading a very bright light over a large surface, so I'm not blinding anyone else in the room. Lol!

So originally I bought a cheaper one not realizing how short the arms were but had no idea why they would even make one that small. It wouldn’t even go over a computer monitor so I made sure to look at the arm length this time and got this one. This one is perfect length. It’s sturdy and sell designed. The only complaint is the on/off switch is on the cord near the base mount so it is inconvenient to shut off or make adjustments sitting at the desk chair because you have to stand up and walk behind the desk to access the functions. The light is really nice. It’s definitely worth what you pay for it.

I bought this for my grandma, who uses it almost everyday and she loves it. The bright white works perfect for doing tasks and reading her mail, it’s easy for her to move around as she needs, and lets her keep both hands free to do stuff while still being able to easily see.The buttons were a bit hard for her to figure out at first, but she got the hang out of it and it’s fine now.The clamp is terrible, I ended up welding a tube onto a C clamp to replace it. It doesn’t hold very well on any surface except a 90 edge, which most tables have some kind of rounded edge, but it’s just not deep enough to get past any rounded table edges. And I wasn’t about to risk her moving it around and it falling off and hitting her in the face or something.

I added that myself)My wife got this for me for a birthday present.It suits my needs quite well!The thing I like best, is that the light has 3 different modes. White LEG, Warm LED and a mix of both.This is great for distinguishing color differences. The brightness can also be adjusted.It is powered by USB, which could be handy, but I prefer to plug it into the wall with an adapter. (I believe it was included.) The cord was a little short however, but I had an extension. Another thing I noticed is that depending on what you plug it into, it may shut off if the item is shut off. For example when my Computer went to sleep, the lamp went off. But this is to be expected, and not an issue with the lamp.The arm is very good, but is somewhat limited. It clamps to the table which makes it very secure. However, If you frequently need to adjust the light into odd angles, you may want a light with a flexible metal gooseneck. But it works well for my needs.One last note... The magnification is quite good, 2.25 HD but not quite strong enough sometimes for seeing super fine detail. I need more magnification than most might. I solved this problem by sitting another magnifying loop on top of the glass. It has a little rim, so it stays just fine. (See Picture)Only drawbacks: It feels somewhat fragile, like if you try to move it too far it might break.If Magnifying power is important to you, you might want something stronger.

I haven't used it much yet but it is so far all that I had hoped to get from it. It moves smoothly, the lights are very bright, it is easy to use. I had hoped the clamp would be bigger though. I will need to modify my table to fit the clamp on. Otherwise, it looks great.

The light is fantastic! The 5 Diopter lens allows for a complete view of the work being done without distortions. My only draw backs are that once clamped and screwed securely the light can’t pivot or turn, which would make life a bit easier depending on the surface availability; also, a longer cord would really make this superb.Still worth 5 stars for the lens which is what I bought it for.

the product seems well built. it is light weight and slim. when is it not in use it is very easy to hang up on a wall. the LED is very bright!

It’s a great product however surging 2.5 months the light is beginning to opaque. I am trying to contact the seller. Anyone can help!!!
