This is a nice grill, it's definitely worth the price paid on Amazon.I've never owned an IR grill but it is more different from regular gas grills than I expected. Food Cooks very fast, and seemingly very dryly. Gone are the days of cooking on the highest heat of my old gas grills. The heat really is much more even and flare-ups are reduced bigly, as some would say. There is a learning curve, but it's brief and the results are excellent.For the price, I have no complaints so far.

I bought this little grill due that my old one had rusted out kind of badly (still not sure how it was getting moisture up in it). It's a bit smaller than my previous one, but that was fine with me due that it makes it easier for storage.I like the design and way it cooks food. The food seems to just cook so much quicker and easier than my previous grill. I really don't have to find a spot on the grill where it is the hottest because the heat is pretty well spread out as advertised (I do note there seems to be a few minor areas not near as hot, but they are on the edges).One thing I don't like about the grill is the grates: they're great for cooking but kind of annoying for clean up. Flakes of food gets stuck in the corners, and it's almost easier each time to just take the grates out to clean them. I would prefer to be able to just quickly clean up and move on, but it takes a bit of time to clean up (maybe I'm just particular about getting all the flakes out).Beyond that, it's a great grill. It really seems to make the food far more juicer, which is great. My wife has commented multiple times the food seems better off of it than our old grill. Definitely a good buy!

Great infrared grill! The only small thing i'd change would be the large metal area at the top can above the burners. I burned my finger very bad by touching this accidentally. The best part about an infrared grill is the grill lines it makes on the food. and the food is more juicy than a traditional grill. The only downside I see is that you have to really clean the grates off well. If the small air holes in the grates get blocked it wont cook your food right, so there is a little more maintenance compared to a standard grill. However the juicy food it cooks is worth it.

The bbq itself looks very nice. However, putting it together is a guessing game. The manual has labels next to each part but none of the parts are labeled. In addition to that, I received one of the pieces bent on the corner which makes the bbq look used already since it cannot be bent back perfectly. I would not recommend this bbq only because of the instructions being so horrible

good little grill cooks steaks so that they are still juicy. love itunfortunately the electric starter quit working after two uses. I would like the company to send me a replacment

This grill cooks very well when grates are clean. I do not need to set the flame to any higher than half way. Any higher and I'd burn my burgers before they cook through. NOT a bad thing, just saying!Each grate is one piece of metal, folded like an accordion (see close up picture on product page =>Char-Broil Performance TRU Infrared 300 2-Burner Cabinet Liquid Propane Gas Grill ).At the bottom of the grate--closest to the burners--there are open slots that are an important part of the grill's cooking performance. Unfortunately, when cooking a juicy steak or pork chop, the juices don't drain through very well. The juice tends to get baked into the slots and, over several days of cooking, the grill's performance suffers significantly.The manufacturer provides a shaped cleaning tool to clean the grates and it does a good job cleaning--except at the very bottom where the slots are located. Normal grill brushes will not get down into the grooves. I have found some small 'toothbrush' shaped metal brushes that do a good job cleaning the 'gunk' that collects, but those brushes don't last long.I'm keeping this grill but I would not recommend it to anyone. Any food I can cook on the grill, gets cooked on the grill. Year Round! Snow or Rain! At least three times a week! The grill requires more attention than any grill I have ever owned.Picture shows Normal slot (Green) and Clogged slot (Red) after cooking just one steak on a cleaned grill.

Very nice grill that looks good, too. Took about 4 hours to assemble (all picture instructions) but once together it's as advertised. I've always been a little skiddish about using propane -- still am -- but I used the grill a couple days ago and it works great -- so far, so good! Have a barrel charcoal grill but found it wasn't worth the hassle to grill for one to five people in the Las Vegas heat. This is the perfect size for a small family -- will use the barrel grill when grilling for larger groups. Am pleased with my choice and looking forward to becoming more proficient with its use.

This is the second one of these we have owned, and the improvements in fit and finish since that first IR grill are obvious w use of ceramic coating on the radiant grilling surface being a good example of this.Came packaged with a lot of beaded styro and rigid cardboard.Assembly was straight forward and it went together in about an hour.It is amazing that such an outstanding product can be sold at the price this is.Picked up a water resistant grill cover which I hope will add a little bit to the lifespan of the product. Grill#1 lasted approx 4 years before the fire box rusted through. We liked it enough that we bought it a second time, and it was good to see that the MFG has continued to improve the product.

Not as good as thought it would be. Cooks good and uses a fraction of the propane compared to other grills but really hard to clean. I cook everything now on a skillet to save the "burn off and clean" routine.

Great
