SmartShake Phil Heath (Silver & red) 27oz Shaker

The protein drink I prefer to use, Syntrax Nectar, does not seem to mix well at all with those bottles that use a mixing ball. I have to shake forever and it just creates tons of foam. So I was looking for a quality bottle that used a grid insert instead as I've had more luck with those. I was intrigued by this one with the pill insert and storage area to hold some protein powder for travel.Overall, it works pretty well. I like that I can pull the insert out unlike other cups where it's attached to the lid, the size is about right for me (the bottle itself is not the largest I've seen so be aware of that, the assembled photo is the cup with the storage sections screwed on the bottom). The storage cups fit inside for travel, and the plastic is nice and solid, it will hold up well compared to cheaper mixing bottles.My only gripe is with the pill insert. It's got 4 sections, but the sides are rather high making it very difficult to get the pills out of each section, without having to flip it over and dump them out. Since it doesn't have covers for the 4 sections, you then have to try and cover the other sections to only get the pills you want. For me, it's close to useless and I'll just toss out the divider and find a decent pill holder that fits inside instead.

Bought this to decrease containers for work. I am able to add my post workout protein in the bottom and my almonds and other snacks up top. I also put my oatmeal in the closed container for later. It gets the job done. Easy clean up and the top does a good job but not great of breaking down the clumps in the protein shake. Better than most though so not really a complaint since it does get the job done, but just to be as objective as possible. Basically can get my post workout meal in there minus my chicken and be good go to go at my desk. I would recommend. Especially for those looking for compact travel options.

Bought this in Feb last year and it's been a great shaker. I use it daily imagine I've gotten my monies worth. The plastic has begun to crack around the edge of the lid where it screws on, presumably because I needlessly over tighten it. It still seems to prevent any leaks but it's split more and more and I think it's finally time to retire it. Like others have said the colors aren't what were pictured but I didn't even notice that until I read these reviews. I'm going to buy a new one, probably a diff model/color now because I love these cups and have been recommending them to everyone.

No more ziplock bags of pills and powder! This simplifies a diet like no other for busy people like no other.Works great, especially the fact that I can SAFELY microwave or put very hot liquids inside (which you ordinarily NEVER want to do with any type of plastic.The only downside was the 4-way pill divider is not fixed to the bottom, so it can spin around, which might not be ideal. also be prepared to spend a couple minutes getting the tiny ring, connected to the carbiner, onto the cup, because it arrives detached.Still love it though! Would buy again.

The bottle works great, as expected for a shaker bottle. I also like the added compartments so I can store protein and pills with my milk until I need them all together.My frustration comes with actually getting the colors I wanted... The first picture shown is the gray bottle with a red lid and middle compartment. You click on that to go to the main page for the item and it shows the gray bottle with all gold accessories. What I got was a gray bottle with a red middle compartment, gray screen, and a white lid. A small complaint. After all, it is just a shaker bottle, and who really cares about what color their bottle is? Well, me a little!

Ok so this is a great shaker cup and the idea of compartments in the bottom was at first very cool. BUT what isn't mentioned is the Condensation that happens when you have a cup of ice and you're in a hot area. I found that my pills AND my powered supplements promptly turned into a melted congealed mess. The main cup does what its spose to do and has a nice strainer you arnt likely to loose like those steel spring balls. I rated a 3 as the cup is great but the issues with the condensation made 40% of the reason I bought t obsolete.

Unless you plan on always shaking on the go, this prob isn't any more exciting or different than a regular shaker with a metal strainer ball thing in middle, except minus the shaker ball thing. I like the size and the masculinity of the cup for my hubby's breakfast shakes, but we haven't even used the other pieces. It's just a regular old shaker cup to me. I even add that little ball shaker thing that I have from other shakers to make sure all the powder is dissolved to avoid having all those pieces to take apart and make a mess with.

Mixing:As far as mixing goes, I don't think it's the best mixer.Durability:Not really that durable, the plastic is week and can break easily; it is more elastic than other mixing products I have tried, so I give that a plus.Other:It has extra compartments for additional stuff like powders, vitamins, and etc... So That's kinda cool.Cleansing:Not necessarily the cleanest post use. It gets dirty quicker than other shakers I have used.

Unfortunately I gave this one away as I couldn't read the level of liquid when I tried to make my shake.
