When I saw these icicle lights, they were exactly what I was looking for. We used them on our wrought iron railing outside and added a few faux pine swags on the railing. These icicle lights looked so pretty from our street and we had so many neighbors asking us where we purchased them.They are not skimpy and the lights are not glaring. They are just "perfect" and we were so happy that we purchased them. They were so reasonable and we couldn't find anything here in Canada that compared to them. We've been using white or multicolored Christmas lights for the past few years, but this year we decided to switch things up with some twinkling blue lights. And we're absolutely thrilled with the results! The blue hue is simply enchanting – not too bright, not too dim, but just the right shade of Christmas magic. And the built-in timer is an absolute game-changer! It automatically turns on the lights for six hours, casting a blue glow over our home without requiring us to manually turn them on or off. No more coming home to a dark house – now we get to bask in the festive ambiance from the moment we turn the corner!Setting up the timer was a breeze, thanks to the included remote control. Just point the remote towards the side of the plug (straight on won't work), press the 'on' button when you want the lights to come on (say, at 5:30 PM), and then, without moving the remote, press the 'timer' button once. That's it! The timer will activate and faithfully turn the lights on and off (after 6 hours) each day.As an added bonus, the length of the lights is a perfect fit for our house – like, perfectly perfect, as if they were custom-made for us! The media could not be loaded. Mixed half the strand with another of equal size to get the color effect for my display, remote is kinda useless but I like the first selection although the modes would be nicer if separated from sped up function like half the function best but still like moving lights, happy with lights finally got them up half way threw December and seemed to do well so far.

These lights are exactly as advertised and look fantastic. The remote is easy to use and the settings have enough variation to have a few likeable options, though some of them aren't very good looking. The brightness really makes a difference though, and it can be adjusted from somewhat dim to very, very bright. My only complaint is how the lights are packaged, which is a knotty mess. However, that's a fine tradeoff for the low price and only caused a bit of annoyance when getting them hung up.

Great lights, but just be warned that they do have a slight yellow tint to them similar to the stock photos shown above. I have “true” warm white lights I bought from Home Depot and Target, and there is an obvious difference in their colors. Other than that, they are great and work just as advertised. I love the remote!I have 4 connected - just make sure you remove the timer box from all but one set of lights. If you don’t remove the others, it’ll short and won’t turn on until you do so.

These are the absolute best looking lights I have ever purchased! They're very nice looking, are easy to put up and aren't completely tangled and don't require a lot of untangling. I compare these to hanging up wet noodles. They just automatically fall into place. One thing to note is that the wiring is very thin and I bought 3 boxes of these lights and somehow I pulled the female coupler wiring off of one strand and rendered it useless. I have returned the box and bought another strand of this same model from the same buyer.

The details of these light say they are water resistant however, they are not. My husband hung them on our house two weeks ago. I went to turn them on yesterday and they stopped working. After trying everything my husband checked the cord and there was water running out of the transformer. We ordered a new transformer from Amazon today. I really hope this works because the lights themselves are beautiful and our granddaughters love them. However, I won't be buying these again from this company.

I bought 6 packs of these icicle lights to place outside my 2 story house. I didn't realize, until after I had them all installed, that you cannot force them to stay on. I use daylight sensor timers for all my outdoor lights. Once the daylight timer turns them off, you can't turn them on again unless you go outside and use the remote control to turn them back on. (Negates using daylight timers) I think my only option is to plugin them directly into the outlet and try to use the 6 hours on/18 hours off timer. Not really what I was aiming for. I even removed the "settings" box in-between the lights and the plug, but then only half of the lights remain lit for some reason.

Fits perfectly along my wall where it was bare, beautiful lights, work fine. Only thing I would change is the settings if you want it on a certain light setting it will keep changing speeds throughout. I just wanted it one speed but they’re still amazing

Tried new batteries and remote and timer still do not work. Purchase two sets and neither works. Lights work fine.

I needed new Christmas lights and thy were easy and light weight to put up. The remote works wonderfully and has different settings.
