I had one of these in the 70's and loved it. I have a corner kitchen sink that doesn't have much room for garbage underneath and I don't like a can on the floor in the room somewhere. The design of my kitchen doesn't even allow for any convenient place anyway. Pluses: It mounts on your under sink kitchen (or bathroom or laundry room) cabinet door. Takes up no space under the sink so you stll have room for whatever you want to put there. There is a little shelf at the base of the unit to store your roll of extra bags. It also takes plastic grocery bags. Because it is small and it will be emptied to the garbage can often, it won't get smelly. Minuses: It has a small capacity, which can be either a plus or a minus. For a family, you would no doubt empty to the garbage can daily. I was thrilled to find these still existed and it's a perfect solution to my under the sink garbage situation.

This is exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a simple, compact trash holder that attaches to the door of the cabinet under the kitchen sink. It mounts on the cabinet door so no wiggling. All other options were way too big and took up too much space in cabinet. Perfect for smaller households. You can use any plastic bags in a pinch but they’re really too small. I opted to order the refill bags which are inexpensive and perfect sized with longer handles. Because of the small size, it leaves plenty of room for cleaning supplies that are typically stored in under sink cabinets. There is even a small tray under the trash bags to catch a drip if the bag is leaking. I would definitely recommend this trash holder for singles and smaller households.

These are just perfect for so many things... all those tiny little cute garbage cans you bought for some reason and have stuffed around every cornerin your house.... fit perfectly. And you can leave the rolls in the bottom, of the can under your opened bag just fine... never having to flatten out those ugly bundle of store bags or deal with those big wads of mismatched sized bags. They're neat and so much better looking than those "near thin as air" ugly brown and blue crappy bags you get from the store! I like that these are white, have the handles for tying off and look all uniform and neat in your cans... more classy than a store bag that's already wadded up and full of tears. These are absolutely wonderful when you're looking for a bag to carry items off into the car, or packing items for a lunch, or palming off items from around the house to some poor unsuspecting relative or friend..."Please take this, I'm sure you can use it at your house....blah blah".... as they're heading out the door.... They'll at least look great carrying off their goodies in a nice looking 3 gal little white bag....

I have one of these garbage container for my workshop. For years, I purchased them at Publix, but now they no longer carry them. Happy to see that Amazon carries them although the price is a little high.
