Twisted (The Steel Brothers Saga, 8)

This saga is driving me nuts trying to figure out the mystery and reading about the brothers falling in love. There are so many unexpected things that comes up that you never know what is coming but it really makes me want to figure out the entire mystery. Ms. Hardt sure knows how to keep us readers guessing on the entire mystery and the romance is so hot. You need to read the saga from the beginning to know what the entire mystery is all about and keep track of all the twists and turns that it takes you on. Ryan is not sure if he can trust his siblings any more and Ruby, the woman he is in a relationship with since they kept something from him until the secret came out. In this book, Ryan continues to deal with the aftermath of the secret while at the same time is more determine to solve the mystery that has consumed his family since Talon opened up what happened to him when he was abducted as a child. Ryan realizes he also has feelings for Ruby but is not certain he can trust her but knows that he still wants her. Ruby is new to relationships and wants to be there to help Ryan. Ruby also has a stake in trying to solve the mystery that has consumed all the Steel siblings and their spouses. Ruby has been doing her own investigation for the longest time and her investigation intertwines with the Steel's. The romance between Ryan and Ruby continues and their chemistry is off the charts. They realize that they want more from each other but are not sure what to do. They take a risk and tell each other their true feelings and decide to take their relationship further. They also continue to try an figure out all the secrets surrounding the mystery. There are so many surprises and it keeps you guessing and anticipating the next book to see if the Steels and their significant others are close to solving it and what other surprises will be thrown at them. This is one of the best series that I have read and I anxiously keep waiting for the next book in the series. Not only is the romance of each Steel brother and their significant other so, so hot but the entire mystery keeps you guessing! Come on February, 2018!

Ryan finds out something that makes him think that he can’t count on his family. Ruby just wants to help Ryan to deal with his recent news about his family while dealing with her own.

This series is so good you just can't put the books down. I love this story line between Ryan and Ruby. They have some much chemistry and when you read Helen books you feel what you read. Ruby is a kick ass and you hope that if you have daughters that they will be smart and never give up on things to make their lives better. Ryan is surprising me in the book and kind of a brat and being very dominate with Ruby. It seems that he using the poor me card a lot. This book didn't answer very many question but did feel in some parts from the last few. They are starting to figure things out and who is running the sex trafficking. I will be very interested to see if they do find Ryan father and what rolls he has played. I'm hoping that the next book is the last because I really want to find out who was or isn't the ring leader of all this. I couldn't believe how this book ended on such a cliff hanger. The next book needs to be out sooner. I received this book as a arc review.

Please note that you need to read this series in order: Craving, Obsession, Possession, Melt, Burn, Surrender, Shattered and then Twisted (Unraveled comes out in 2018). Twisted begins where Shattered left off and as you know, Helen dangled that proverbial carrot in front of us once again. Ryan and Ruby are still working together to figure out the strange mysteries that plague their families. Some puzzle pieces are falling together, while others are still missing. The development of Ryan and Ruby’s relationship is fast, yet careful and guarded. They are extremely conflicted and although it’s clear to them both they have something special, they find it hard to trust other people. Ruby has dealt with conflict since she was a teen and has relied only on herself to get through life. She’s come out of her shell a lot and I admire her perseverance in trying to rewrite the future she thought she has set for herself. Ryan has learned some things that have turned his life upside down, he doesn’t know where to turn anymore and feels lost. He’s still the same sweet, honest, patient Baby Steel Brother we’ve come to know and love, but sadly feels he doesn’t know where he belongs. We all know by now that Helen is the Queen of cliffhangers. That is what’s so appealing about this series. We have twists, turns, one step forward, two steps back. The need to frantically turn page after page and not stop is always present. That doesn’t diminish the sexy, heart pounding erotic moments between these broken characters. We get it all, mystery, intrigue, suspense and best of all characters that we come to know and love like family. Enjoy the ride that is the Steel Brothers!

I love her as an author, her books are great. They are sexy, tell a good story and you will end of staying late to try and finish the book (which might not be a good thing). Her series are great too. A few start out slow, but you get to the good stuff real quick. You feel like you are part of the their story. A great read!

Helen Hardt has delivered another great addition to the Steel Brothers’ saga with her expert storytelling. She has woven an intricate story of the Steel family and will make you fall in love with every single one of them. In Twisted, Ryan and Ruby are great together with lots of heat and drama. Between burning up the sheets the two are a force to be reckoned with as they work to solve the mystery that surrounds the entire family. Ryan is confused and distraught about finding out that Wendy Madigen is his mother and could his father really be alive? Ruby is pushing to catch up with her father to put all their nightmares to rest. Picking right up from where Shattered left off, the answers to everyone’s questions begin to be revealed. What will they uncover next is anyone’s guess.

Well, I need to talk about author, Helen Hardt. She has just blown my mind! I received "Craving" for free and it was fantastic, so I bought the remaining 8 books in the Steele Brothers Series. Then, I bought all 9 audiobooks because I love to listen to the voices. The narrators were perfect! The storyline was amazing; not what I was expecting at all. I love how a male narrator and female narrator took turns, back and forth. Each book tells part of the overall story, and it will keep you reading/listening till the end. No laggy parts. I highly recommend this brilliant series!

I love this series - the ups and downs of the Steel family as well as all the twists and turns is just great and really holds your attention. This story of Ryan as he comes to terms with being only half a Steel and that his mother might actually be the person behind all that is happening can't make him feel great and then his feelings for Ruby Lee, who is also involved in the story via her father, are growing and all in all makes a really good read, as do all the books in this series.

Helen Hardt is an amazing author! I love the Steel Brothers series. They are full of adventure, mystery, romance, and emotion! When reading these books it’s like a movie playing in my head and I can feel ever emotion like it’s real.

Was waiting to read this book however Amazon hasn't given the entire book more than 100 pages are missing .. sad need to buy the book again

It definitely suited its title. I was very eager to read about Ryan and Ruby. I wasn’t sure how the story was going to play out as it seemed to get started quite quick but with all the twists thrown in I was definitely turning the pages on this one. Can’t wait to read what happens next.
