Great panel! Almost rivals popular brands! And it's made in India!
If you are looking for value for money without compromises, this is the brand to go for. However, my ordeal with this TV was not very good when it was first delivered to me - the Wifi and Bluetooth functions were not working at all. I asked for a replacement and was promptly given a new set in a few days. It works flawlessly - the Wifi connectivity is seamless and quick now. Now, let's address the elephant in the room - how good is this 50 inch behemoth compared to the Sonys and Samsungs of the world which cost thrice as much? Here are my points -1. It costs thrice as less and delivers about 95% of what the big brands offer.2. The biggest plus point - the picture quality is rather excellent. The colours are punchy and vibrant, the skin tones are rendered nicely, the blacks are deep (for a LCD panel), no ghosting issues, the contrast and sharpness are handled exceptionally well. In short, it is a joy to consume 4K and 2K content on this TV.3. But what about full HD upscaling? My experience with full HD content has been very good. The TV upscales full HD content without making it mushy, soft or oversharpened.4. The bezels are thin and give the TV a premium look. The remote is also built well. The buttons are clicky. No, I am not complaining about the layout. You get used to it in no time.5. The sound is decent for a LCD TV. I would suggest going for a decent 2.1 system or a soundbar to get the full feel.6. I went to Reliance Digital to compare the picture quality side-by-side with Samsung and I was shocked to see that there was negligible difference between the picture quality of both! How good (and cheap) technology has become over these years!7. Lastly, I would like to mention that don't just go for anything looking at the brand. Look at the product. If the product is worthy of your money, go for it. My Micromax LCD has been running 12 hours daily for the past 4.5 years (in my restaurant) and it is still working flawlessly. My friend's Samsung TV was cooked in just 2 years. I am not against Samsung. I have a 43 inch Samsung Plasma TV at my home for more than 8 years. It still works fine. My iPhone 5s was died just after 1 year. I had to throw it away because the cost of repairs was not worth it. My point? Anything can fail. Anything.

Massive 50" screen with Dolby Vision and Atmos!!!
From Amazon: Bought the tv on 6th and perfectly delivered to my room on 7th August. From Technician: I scheduled my installation on 9th and the technician person came to my address on time. With his experience he installed the television on the wall as I have opted for wall mount option. He was well behaved and presentable. He took 30mins to finish the installation. From Television: This giant screen comes with a narrow bazell and Dolby vision and Atmos. Watching online content is a bliss.Slight colour adjustment is need for the accurate picture quality from the tv settings.Install the RemoteNow app from the playstore to handle the tv from your smartphone. The app is developed by Hisense so don't worry about the functionality. But from tv you need to enable the content sharing option from the wifi setting which is tricky to find out.Watching 4k content from youtube is also great. The remote has a 'crossBox' option for turning off the screen only, when u want to cast song from your phone.30watt sound output is also very good. It satisfies my need. It is loud and clear enough to understand the western accent. From Hisense: Thank you team for this device with an affordable price segment. 5years panel warranty is given by the company. Hope I don't have to use it ever. From Me: if you want to watch Dolby/HDR content from the OTT platform all the time like me then then this tv is for youPlus under 30k is a perfect option.I deducted 1 star because of 3 things.1. Remote is made of cheap quality plastic.2. Lack of MEMC technology.3. No HDMI 2.1 support. As the tv released 2 3 months before the new Console release.I think it should have taken care atleast.Verdict: If you don't care about these 3 points then I would suggest you to buy the device and fill your room with happiness.

Super dupe purchase, overall very good experience.
I bought this TV on 13 June when there was an offer (Euro Special Offer) of an extended warranty of 4 years from HiSense company and special sales offers from Amazon. And on top of that, they also offered an exchange which was hassle free from Amazon's side. The installation was also done the very next day after delivery. Since then, this review is after using TV for 2 months. We feel its a super dupe purchase.Good:- Picture quality is awesome. The 4K TV is very good. Full mark for it; 5/5.- We only use digital channels such as Amazon Prime, Netfix, Jio Cinema, HoStar and Youtube. So I don't know about traditional DTH providers' picture quality. - Sound quality is very good, especially when watching new movies on Amazon Prime etc that support Dolby sound. Full mark, 5/5.Could have improved:- Remote -I didn't like the remote on this TV. The plastic material is not good, the buttons are also not easy to use.- - Boot up and app navigation speed -Not so smooth, it seems to lag when compared to operating an Amazon stick. I still have an old Amazon stick. TV's own app gives a faster user experience compared to TV's own app.
