1080p? Nah...
I wanted to give a try to an android PC,... failed. That's clearly a design and not a brand specific issue. They claim 1080p output, but it is nothing but 720p stretched - not sure why but it means fonts are fuzzy and it is very unpleasant to use it for anything other than Home Theater (where I'm betting the resolution is still 720, but it is harder to judge than font sharpness).Another annoying problem - despite having a connected bluetooth keyboard, when you click on an input field, the bloody software keyboard jumps up and covers half the screen. Couldn't find any setting to prevent it from happening, so every time I need to press ESC to make the software keyboard go away. Imagine adding a calender appointment with many input fields :-(

Not what I expected.
It is really limited on what you can do. It always crashes, & shuts down on its on. I am also unable to download anything from the Android market. I keep getting error " Invalid file package". The range is very bad on it also. My router is located 2 feet away, but yet I only have one bar. Unable to store anything to the SD card. It seems like everything is stored to the device, which has very limited space. I thought I would be able to make use of my 32GB SD card, but it will not store anything on it. I guess the SD is for photo's and music only. So I would not recommend this particular product to anyone. Its a waste of money. I am very disappointed in this product. I guess a sucker is born every day. Lol. But I will try another brand with more memory available, because a lot of these devices do not allow apps to be stored on SD card.

Died after a couple hours
The MK809II device I bought from this seller died within hours, the packing for the device from this seller was different then the others I've seen, not sure if that implies these are seconds or refurbs but I would avoid this seller.I purchased this same MK809II device from another seller online a few months ago and its working fine. There are now better MK808B Android devices here on Amazon from other sellers, with a heat sink and vented case to help it run cooler, they also have the latest 4.2.2 software. Don't get stuck with this junk.

A nice functional add-on for your regular or even smart TV
I installed this on a 60" LED TV installed on the wall to use my android apps on the big screen. It does a great job and provides a very nice way to add features that even your smartest TVs don't have today (depending on what applications you like to get from App Store). The graphics and colors on the large LED screen look very brilliant and vivid, even better than a laptop that is hooked up to the TV.This model seems to be most compatible with apps available for tablets. I tried to install some of my apps on other similar devices that I had purchased, but this one was best at handling all of them. The others wouldn't install Pandora or some of the other apps (not compatible for device) even though they all used Jellybean 4.1 OS.I also use it to stream videos and movies and it also does a better job than my high end laptop! I use it with a wireless keyboard and touchpad combination and it's always left on (over a month now) with no issues or overheating.I recommend this over most other similar devices.

Wi-fi didn't work out of the box
After syncing a bluetooth keyboard to it, and playing around with the settings, I thought that the slow response to even turning on bluetooth was a signal that this one might be buggy. It proceeded to prove me right as I couldn't sustain a wi-fi signal with it plugged in using the supplied power adapter. I thought of going the ethernet adapter route as many others have, but there's newer units that have it ethernet built in and better wi-fi for not much more. But if you truly never plan on moving it, and want to use adapters, it may save you a few bucks.

it was worth a try and it pased the test!
really worth the money. bought this with a keyboard and couldnt be happier with my purchase. in fact im leaving this feedback using the tv pc and google crome app. no it doesnt have the strongest wifi signal but i mean you really cant expect too much from such a small package and price tag. is it worth the money YES could it be improved yes did i have to do anything to get it to work beside plug it in NO. everyone knows you cant be cheap and get the best and newest tech items. but for what you pay for this tv stick i feel i got my moneys worth no questions asked

This mobile computer is the best!
So i've been messing with this new toy for a couple of weeks now (when I have the time), and I must say this thing is more impressive everytime I fire it up. I actually took this think when me and the family went to South Lake Tahoe and hooked it up to the T.V in our room. The whole family was able to watch Netflix and Hulu anytime we needed. I call this unit, when people ask "what is that thing"; my $70 mobile entertainment system. Now here is so things to consider when buying this unit. If you think you're going to hook this thing up to a 60" T.V. and play games, you might be disappointed. For shoots and giggles, I installed a Nintendo 64 emulator and and tried to play a game that I know that works on my Nexus 7; it failed, obviously. There's not enough juice for this little guy to be able to play any type of emulator. now as for the android store I did test a few games in there, and they seemed to function okay, but this wasn't the intent of my purchase (hence why I own a Nexus 7). It was for an entertainment center on the go, which lives up to its purpose. Shows from Netflix and Hulu play super smooth (don't use hotel wireless, use your phone) and streams like you're actually watching it from Comcast or Uverse. I actually forgot sometimes, and try to change the channel with my remote. Also I owned a BT keyboard and mouse, that I now dedicate to this mini PC.
