Easy way to keep this in the Pantry!
My husband's favorite pie is lemon, and Jello brand makes a nice, fresh lemon tasting pudding that works great as pie filling, and also as a quick substitute for curd to use as cake filling, pastry filling, to mix in yoghurt, dollop on biscuits, fill sandwich coolies, on ice cream... the flavor is not quite as intense as homemade fresh curd, but it is quicker in a pinch. Our local store has been very "hit and miss" about carrying this, so I have come home empty handed several times recently. Being able to order it by the case to keep on hand is GREAT! This is on my "essentials" list now, and I will look into subscribing.

Must have
For our families Lemon Meringue pie recipe, this product is a must have. I panicked when I searched 5 separate grocery chains and none had this. I called Jello and they explained that they were having supply chain issues with this product but we could find it on Amazon. They were right! So I ordered an entire case of this stuff. Never want to be without it again. I do love my lemon meringue pie.

Jell-O cook and serve lemon pudding
This is the third time I've ordered this product. It does require one half cup of sugar, added lemon juice and zest, and two egg yolks to be made. It is NOT an instant pudding and must be cooked, either on the stovetop or in the microwave.

Small boxes but full sized pies!
I was terribly disappointed that they sent the small boxes, not the big ones I was accustomed to buy. I thought I would have to use two per pie shell but surprise! Two filled two pie shells just like the big boxes. Now I don't understand why there were two sizes in the stores before they stopped selling them. My family loves these lemon pies so I bake them often.

Even tho the picture on the package looks nothing like the one online the item is the correct one, and i had been looking for this pie filling for a long time. My family are very happy that i can now make them lemon meringue pies again. Have been making pies with this filling for over 50 yrs and still as good as when i first started using it.

The Best Lemon Pie Filling
We like it because it is the best lemon pie filling. Difficult to get in some areas and this way it is aailable when we need it. Our family enjoy my lemon pies made with this pie filling. Yes it would be highly recomended by our family.
