I’m extremely pleased with the Tommee Tippee GroEgg2 Toddler Nightlight and would happily give it five stars. It has been a fantastic addition to our child’s room, helping create a calm and comfortable environment while also providing a useful way to monitor room temperature. The simple colour-changing LED display makes it easy to understand the room conditions at a glance without needing to check a separate thermometer. The soft glow is perfect for bedtime, providing enough light to reassure little ones while still being gentle enough not to disturb sleep. Good product - bought after having our first child last year. Acts as a great night light as well as showing the temperature. The egg changes colour depending on the temperature of the room as well letting you know whether is too hot, cold or just right. The only con is we have found that after using it for a year the light is sometimes temperamental and doesn’t stay on however turning this on and off at the plug seems to resolve this issue. The temperature gauge has never failed though, just the light for colour display. This has been extremely valuable over the past year especially as new parents! Would highly recommend.

This has been a great product to have at home with a baby. I’ve been using the GroEgg2 for about 9 months now, and it turned out to be a really great purchase. The soft light is perfect for nighttime checks, feeding, or changing diapers without turning on bright lights and waking the baby too much. I also really like the colour indicator, which helps easily see if the room temperature is comfortable for the child. It’s simple to use, looks nice in the nursery, and gives peace of mind when it comes to the baby’s sleeping environment. Overall, it’s a very helpful device for parents with a baby at home, and after months of use I can definitely say it was a great buy.

I’ve been reading all the other reviews, and people really need to be reading descriptions. Yes it is plug in, yes it’s little and no you can’t change the colour🤦🏼‍♀️The colours correspond to the temperature! This light is great, and works perfectly for us! Perfect size, and there’s a button underneath that you can use to change the brightness! Been helpful since my baby was born and especially in this heatwave.

The egg arrives neatly packaged in a cardboard box, WITHOUT a usb power adapter but with the cable, because apparently Tommee Tippee can't be bothered to include everything you might need for the product to actually work. The temperature sensor appears to work well, unfortunately the following absolutely ruins the product though, as far as I'm concerned. I was laying in bed last night thinking the orange hue was a bit bright, so I went to dim it. "Great, now it's dim!" Or even "Great, now the light is off" You probably think I was thinking, right? No. The second you put it on the first dim setting, the text showing the temperature GETS BRIGHTER, why the hell would they do that? I did a bit of googling and there are some suggestions online that the text brightness doesn't change and that this is due to the light getting dimmer and the contrast between the two being increased. Let me tell you now that this is NOT the case, and that the brightness of the text gets NOTICEABLY brighter, and it does not need to be at all. So I laid in bed again with the equivalent of what felt like a micro-sun shining across the room into my eyes, I lasted around 5 minutes before up I got and the egg was unplugged for the remainder of the night. If it bothered me that much, imagine how much it could disturb the sleep of a baby. This product has been "designed with children in mind", but the execution is terrible. Being able to dim the light but not the temperature reading essentially ruins the product for me, I'd have been able to read it from across the room even if it were more dim. It's even funnier when you think this is the 2nd version of the egg, and it's still this bad! If I could give it 0 stars I would. Buy a cheaper set of baby room thermometers without harsh backlights instead.

Great product. Picks room temperature

The light works perfectly fine for 2 days, and all of a sudden it has no response, neither the light itself nor the temperature detection, rather disappointing. And the package doesn't come with an adapter, and it needs to be always charged so to be able to use, not very convenient.

Ho acquistato questa lampada come luce notturna per il mio neonato ma è troppo bassa e funziona solo collegata alla corrente. Ho dato 4 stelle perché il rilevatore della temperatura è utilissimo.

Perfect for my baby room, you only need a glance to decide what your baby must wear. Can be also used as a night light. The only thing is you need to connect it to power all the time.

I honestly cannot live with out it. I know what I need to dress my baby to keep her warm on cold nights
