Mahogany Double Cat Hammock by Horton Cats

I was so excited to get this for my cat. It JUST came to my door this afternoon. The assembly is a joke. I am your average cat lady with a little bit of muscle . . .and I do not have a workshop. But I do have screwdriver and a power cordless drill and I am not able to get the screws into the wood to assemble the hammock. I do have a brother who has a workshop where I will take this to get put together.I also have issues with the design. This is a double hammock and one of the hammocks (the lower hammock) is not able to be supported if you follow the directions that came from Horton Cats. So if you do not get the hammock in place before you assemble all the support rods you have to take it apart to hang the lower hammock.I hope my cat loves this or I will be returning.

Cats just have different preferences. One of mine spends most of the day in it, in the "upper story" when he wants sun and in the "lower story" when he's had enough sun. The other cat ignores it completely, but I think it is because he is too heavy and nearly hits the floor (he's 16-17 lbs.)

Our cats Mynx (female) and Macchiato (male) who are brother and sister just LOVE their hammock which we placed in our bedroom - it took a little while before they discovered it but now they spend most night sleeping there and keeping us company.
