Easy install IF you can strip two wires.
If you have never stripped two of your existing wires, ask one of your red-neck friends. They'll be able to do this task with their teeth. If you don't have a red-neck friend to help out, pay a repairman $60/hour for the install.Zero issues with parts delivered. I ordered a new burner just because I used a metal file to get the corrosion off of my existing burner's connections. Wire nut and heat shrink has zero issues. Simple bending of the mount and it all worked perfectly.

Perfect replacement for 35yr old GE range
Easy to install. Fit my 35yr old GE range. The only comment I have is with the instructions. The way the instruction shows folding wires and wire nuts back and slipping heat shrink over them does not work as shown. The heat shrink is not large enough to do this. For this I only gave it four stars on install.

Part #same bu not the same part
The part # matches the parts list but it was different from original part. Had to modify to get it to mount properly.

Not bad for $5
This little miracle fixed my GE stove from 1988. Not bad for $5.00 and 5 minutes. Cant believe something this inexpensive can fix something as expensive as a stove. Mega easy to install. Used a heat gun instead of a lighter to shrink the plastic shroud thingy around the coupled wires/wire nut. Now that I don't have to buy a new stove I wonder if the spouse would let me buy a fat tv for the family room? Guy can dream right??!!

Part fit but was disappointed with how the part went together.
The part looked the old part that came out but the metal bracket that holds the connector did not lock onto the electrical connector verry well - it was too loose. But I made it fit, and it should work. The shrink wrap that is used to cover the wire nuts is too small I had to use some of my own to cover the wire nuts. The range is a Hotpoint, a new part costs $35 and this part costs $12. I expected more, but you get what you pay for .

Almost a drop-In for my replacement
The product worked great, easy to install and worth the price. Note I an really glad I purchased this part rather than the alternative designs. However, some GE ranges also require a grounding wire to be attached to one of the socket mounting brackets. Unfortunately, this product does not provide for the ground wire attachment. However, I was able to use the mounting bracket from the old socket. Thanks...
