In my small house this is perfect. We have natural gas. The hook up was super easy. It shuts on and off on it's own perfectly. At level 3 I had to get up and turn it down around 4 am because the whole house was warm not just the 11x20 living room! I wish it were a bit bigger to fit the space. I wish it had a blower and remote control. But honestly it works so I can't complain.

Edit add: The aggravating error in the installation instructions turned out to be the only problem encountered, and the fireplace has now been in use for three months. It works fine, and looks great.__________________________________I'm ready to review this product although I've only just started the installation.If you follow the dimensioned drawing for the wall cut-out, the fireplace will neither fit, nor cover the entire opening; too large in places, too small in others. I measured and cut the opening with care, then measured again to confirm it exactly matched the supplied drawing. Then I repaired my wall.Honestly, the wall cut-out has to be the simplest thing in the entire installation manual, and THEY GOT IT WRONG?! I'm not sure now that I want to find out what else they screwed up.

I have a small house with no place for the fireplace that I always wanted. This unit is just perfect for me! It was built into a faux mantel which slipped right in under my stairway. I've never used propane before and was nervous but this is so easy to use and it really throws some heat! I can't say enough good about it!

I like it and it puts out good heat. Make sure you have a professional install it. I had a cabinet built around mine, it is roughly 10 inches deep, so it wouldn't go in the wall.

Returned two of them both were damaged and gave up
