I was so excited about this little tool from sram, but it's broken on arrival. I used it anyways, tool is simple to use, does the job well, however, this is made with very cheap plastic. Why not use polycarbonate for water bottles? That would have been a good and inexpensive choice considering how many water bottles being thrown away every day. Very disappointed. Need a refund. Update: I felt bad leaving a bad review and thought I should give an update. Contacted seller, they are very professional! One of the nicest response I have gotten from a 3rd party seller. Received a brand new one within days. This tool might not be of best quality, but it is usable even if its broken, and it's a must have tool. Overall: This tool is 4 stars - great design, bad quality. Seller service - 5 stars

If you understand what this is for and how to use it, this product is perfect out of the package. Cut it open and adjusted my derailed in a few minuets, keep if on the top of the tool box to prevent it from being cracked and should last me for the life of my bike or longer. Appreciate the availability!!!!

Helped me to accurately adjust the derailleur. Without it, I just couldn’t set correctly. First ride after using the tool, I had super smooth shifting. It’s made of plastic and a little fragile.

There has to be a better tool. These are notoriously brittle, easy to break. I broke mine in a second spot when gluing the first. And I was being careful. The plastic must have already been cracked. Using a hex wrench as a guide might be less frustrating.

After two years of riding, shifting to higher gears on my 2022 Stumpjumper (SRAM X01 Eagle AXS) was becoming problematic (delayed, sometimes indefinitely). I was able to obtain smooth and reliable shifting in two steps. 1) Align the derailleur. I used a DAG-2.2. The hanger was indeed bent (it didn’t look bent). 2) Adjust the B-gap of the derailleur. I used the SRAM Rear Derailleur Chaingap Adjustment Guide, Eagle 50/52t. I was surprised at how far out of adjustment it was. The guide made it quick and easy to obtain the proper adjustment.

Does its job well and makes quick work of setting the tension screw. Hint: search YT for the official SRAM video on this--it's designed to be used on the 11th (2nd biggest) sprocket, not 12th as some videos show.

This thing makes it extremely simple to adjust B-gap on my GX setup, but it is so flimsy and cheap that it almost feels disposable. Should cost a dollar or less.

réglage d'un dérailleur sram 12 vitesses lors du changement de cassette. facile à utiliser. se mettre en deuxième vitesse et mettre l'outillage sur la première vitesse. Regeler l'axe du pignon supérieur du dérailleur sur l'index. Facile!!!!!

Utile per regolare il cambio SRAM

I bought this adjustment tool because I had a mountain bike with the SRAM SX Eagle drivetrain, it wasn't shifting very well even though I tuned the gears myself. Read online that the B-Screw on the derailleur needs to be set exact for the derailleur to shift well, I used this tool to get the screw set, tuned the gears back up and shifts nice and efficiently!

Ich konnte meine Gangschaltung damit auf einfachste Art und Weise wieder einstellen. Bin sehr zufrieden. Eigtl. sollte sowas gleich zum Rad dazu verkauft werden, finde ich.
