Keyless drill chuck good value
This keyless chuck works just like it is supposed to. It is a bit longer that usual so when i attempted to use it on my Bridgeport to dill into a tall piece it didn't fit even though the knee was in the lowest position. Otherwise good value for the money. I did not measure the runout so no comment there.

NOT accurate, Not usable
It looked like a great deal...I chucked it up in my Bridgeport and my drill bit wobbled like crazy. Thought it was a bad drill bit put another one in...it wobbled too! I put a lathe center drill in it it wobbled as well. I measured almost .020" run out on the mill. Chucked it up on my lathe to check the one-piece collet and it's about .005 run out. By the time measured at the the end of the new chuck you can see in the pictures it has over 0.017" run-out. Don't buy it unless you don't care where you drill a hole for how big the hole is. 😥😥

Mounted On A Shopsmith
I found the original chuck on my Shopsmith very cumbersome and uncomfortable to work with, so I replaced it with this. It is perfect for the job.

Used this with my Bridgeport, and runout was imperceptible ( probably less than 0.0002")

Not too bad for the price.
Came dirty, had to clean and lube inside to get it running smoothly. Ad is wrong, listed as Jacob's taper, but is B18, no issues with that for me. Tested TIR in microns (inches converted). Middle of b18 taper 24 (.0001) Top outer ring on chuck 156 (.0062) Bottom outer ring 477 (.0188) 12mm hss end mill mounted 108 (.0043) As advertised tir, but looks awfull when spinning since the case is so far out. Great to get next day delivery. Can't beat the price.

This item needs replacing as it is unusable , faulty. Not very happy with quality.
I know it's out of date for returning, But I have only just got my milling machine together. So trying to use chuck for first time, I say trying as it is very very hard to operate ,you cannot turn chuck without two hands, it needs replacing,. Not happy with product at all.

Shank is not bad but the chuck...
Shank is fine, received the chuck with rust on it and when fully closed it doesnt come back to open without pressing the teeth,,, also runout was more than 25mill...

Not very well machined. Didn't work
The groove for the R8 spindle was too narrow so it wouldn't fit in the spindle. Poorly machined.
