Its very easy to use as all it requires is two triple A batteries (the ones smaller than the usual size). You can switch between Fairenheit and Celcius and has a color range to tell you whether your temperature is good or not. Green being your fine, yellow being its a little high and red being your a probably sick. The best feature is that after non periodic use for about 30 seconds to a minute it turns off and saves battery. It will turn back on once you begin to use it again. Its small lightweight, portable and cheap! Overall this was worth the purchase especially in the current climate we live in today.

I’ve had a temporal scanning thermometer for probably about 9 years now, and I noticed that the temperature always reads unusually low. I tried replacing the battery (9v), but that didn’t make any difference. Over time, I realized my $40 temporal thermometer has probably seen its better days. We use one of these contactless thermometers at work so I figured I’d get one for my family. It works great! And I believe it’s more accurate than the old temporal thermometer. And, it was less expensive, and only needs 2 AAA batteries vs a 9v. Which this particular thermometer does not come with. But overall, 10 out of 10!

It measures about 1.5 to 2 degrees lower than other thermometers.It is very easy to use and takes very little time to register.I wish it was more accurate.

It is very easy to read, but accuracy seems to fluctuate easily but up to a degree with a seemingly tiny movement after a reading right after each other. This isn’t really a long-term issue if you are using it for a quick spot check before school or work, but if you like need serious accuracy you might need another method. I am immunocompromised and check temperature multiple times a day. I use this as a first check and use a backup method if it is any higher than my usual range.

I bought this thermometer for my two babies. No need to worry that I cannot catch their temperature accurately when they are moving around. I do not need to touch them to get their temperature while they are sleeping. I can stay as far as 3 inches to get the numbers without waking them up. It can display the temperature in C and F. The numbers are clear to be read at night.

I read the reviews as always and thought...give it a try. I got it, added 2 AAA batteries and it seems to work just as described. Really well worth it bc it is quick, easy to use, very vibrant readings and I love the fact that it will alert you by color. No mistakes, definitely great for me to use for my son before he leaves for school, due to the new Covid screening measures being taken. Love it.

I was very deeply disapointed. Ive been wanting a no contact thermometer. The first one i bought was a different brand and didnt work. I was so hopeful for this one. I really wanted something easy that wouldnt seem like torcher when my little one wasnt feeling well. However this one does not give accurate readings. Since my first one had issues i knew i better check my sons temperature twice to make sure it was accurate. It should give you the same reads. However it would give wildy different reads everytime. Very disapointing.

I was in need of a non-contact thermometer since I have been using an old-fashioned oral thermometer for my family, and wanted to check the temperature of people coming to my new home to do painting and few installations. Just having these folks enter my home with masks was not enough for me. We now feel more comfortable knowing that they are checked in an accurate manner. We tested the IR vs the oral thermometer, and they reported the same reading. Highly recommended.
