You could get by without using this tool, but I like clean joints and this tool removes all the burrs.

Great design, does the job on copper pipe and is of handy size.One for the tool box , but remember its plastic housing means suspectable to damage in a heavily loaded toolbox. I keep mine in a plastic tub. The plastic does feel strudy in hand 👌.No issues with it. Worth a buy. Saves time on the job.Id recommend it.

Ich habe mir diesen Entgrater für die Renovierung meines Hauses besorgt, wo ich alte Kupferrohre gegen Mehrschichtverbundrohre austausche. Da ich ein paar Übergangsstellen zwischen den beiden Rohrtypen übergangsweise betreiben musste, brauchte ich ein Werkzeug, das die Kupferrohre gut vorbereitet.Obwohl ich keinen Vergleich mit anderen Entgratern habe, hat dieses Produkt seinen Zweck gut erfüllt. Die Verbindungen sind dicht, es gibt keine Lecks, und die Arbeit ging ohne Probleme von der Hand. Für gelegentliche Heimwerkerarbeiten im Haus kann ich den Entgrater empfehlen. Er tut, was er soll, und das zu einem fairen Preis.

C'est ok pour les tuyaux en métal mais ne l'utilisez pas pour les tuyaux en plastique.

Beim Schnitt rattert es gehörig und es ist mühevoll genügend Material abzunehmen. Nur wenn die Rohre im Schraubstock fest sitzen und man gut ansetzen kann ist das Ergebnis ok. Ob es andere Werkzeuge da besser machen weiss ich nicht.
