So far I'm dissapointed by functionality.I'll start with positives. It seems to be nicely constructed, easy to open door to access control buttons, battery compartment and SD card slot. Menu has lots of options for up setting camera functionality. It doesn't have issue with rechargeable batteries (it takes 8xAA).Now the negatives:First of all item description states that it can take videos at 720P, actual packaging says up to 480p. I tested it and it's indeed only 480p. And speaking of packaging, it's one of those impossible to open without nearly killing yourself and destroying contents type of shell package. They also somehow crammed CD inside which is all bent out of shape and I will not risk it shattering in my BD-ROM drive. Night images are horrible quality, but still animals are identifiable.Now the main issue, motion detection. When testing camera I set it up in PIR only mode with medium sensitivity. I attached it with include bungee cords to a small tree near my driveway in the spot where I usually see some deer. I was away for a while and came back when it was dark outside. I was greeted by no less than 3 deer, and to my joy they were walking right in front of the camera! Wow I'm gonna get some nice shots I though only to discover that it snapped a picture of my car driving by and ... nothing else!I moved camera to my backyard and attached it to the shed with 2 screws. I changed PIR sensitivity to high and left it over night. In the morning I checked SD card and there were 3 pictures on it. One of me, one of my wife walking the dog and finally grainy picture of a small deer. So it seems to work sometimes, thus I give it a 3 star rating. I will update my review as I use it more...

Good camera for viewing deer on our property. The quality is good enough to be able to distinguish one deer from another. We got really good photos of our deer feeding and were able to establish what time the deer were coming through. We were able to get enough photos to determine how many adult deer we have and fawns. We were able to catch photos of a coyote also. We even caught photos of trespassers on our property. In our experience, one set of batteries will last a season. We have had no problems with this camera so far. I have attached two examples of photos we have gotten from this camera, one at night & the other in daylight to show the difference.

Not particularly thrilled. I purchased this camera because the descriptor was clear: 1 second Rapid trigger speed. I called the seller who told me to call the manufacturer. I called the manufacturer, followed their instructions, and it's clear that there is no 1 second Rapid trigger speed on these cameras. So, the camera is not as advertised, and contacting anyone is just a runaround. Had been more hopeful.

Good camera... Easy to set-up and install... But next time I should probably buy one of the camouflage color to blend-in better in the forest...

Pictures aren't bad, but the trigger speed is on the slow side. For the price they're acceptable.

This doesn't take nearly as good of pictures as my older Wildgame Inno camera does. at night the flash just doesn't really do it. Also there was no need to add all the other functions it just makes it too complicated.

Love this camera, had a giftcard to spend so it actually only cost me $15, but I've tracked where the deer are coming from and placed a stand in the perfect spot! Arrived on time and in the package pretty easy set up and even comes with a wildgame innovations decal. I recommend this camera highly.

Excellent product. I have other trail cams with the red leds and it seems like deer notice them alot. I haven't had one deer pick off this lightsout cam at all. From here on out these are all tgat I'll buy.
