Just Not For Me
While I am trying to use more “friendly” products; be they organic, vegan, biodegradable; I run into a problem – I have a LOVE/HATE affair with them.Thankfully I’m able to do trial runs with them as I just won’t spend my money on them. Most are lackluster and sadly inadequate.Like the shampoo of this type, it sounded good for me and for nature. But, as usual, this is plagued with problems that are far too many to justify the price tag. Currently it’s pre-tax price is $10.99While there is added FRAGRANCE, some might find this to be a sticking point. Most organic or vegan products rely on the NATURAL SCENT of the ingredients: ie: lavender, honey, etc.Either way, the fragrance doesn’t add enough to cover the “stench” or it adds to the stench. Whatever way it is – this has a rather UNPLEASANT ODOR. I almost had to re-wash my hair and that isn’t a good idea as I didn’t want to dry it or my scalp out. I will be happy to wash my hair on its next cycle though. The texture of the conditioner is on the runnier side. It is cool and slightly conditions my hair. But, like the shampoo – I noticed an itchier scalp.I’d rather use my mass-market brand: Garnier Whole Blends Honey Treasures. Better texture, cheaper, scalp doesn’t itch, smells SO wonderful.I definitely wouldn’t buy this or recommend it. And, like the shampoo – it’s going in the trash. I don’t even want to empty the rest of the bottle to recycle the container.

May be ok for shorter, less tangly hair
My hair is long curls - I wash, condition, and add de-frizzing goop in the morning, then do nothing all day. The next morning, the process is repeated, which means that the conditioner also has a high priority in my life as a detangler.I used the matching shampoo first, then this conditioner because testing in pairs seems to be the right thing to do. It has a pleasant ginger scent, and thickish texture, squirting into my hand in ribbons of conditioner.I worked it through my hair and left it there while I washed the rest of my bits. Combing it out with a wide tooth comb took more effort than I'd like - fail in the detangle department. It left my hair a little drier than I'd like from an ideal conditioner. This may work better for those with shorter (or straighter?) hair than mine.

Not moisturizing
The smell of this conditioner was ok for me. It didn’t leave my hair moisturized like I expected it too but rather dry. I do like the main ingredients.

Great detox conditioner, not super great at detangling though
Petal Fresh SuperFoods Total Detox Conditioner (Ginger Root, White Charcoal & Matcha)As a detoxifying conditioner, I really like this. It gives my scalp a great clean fresh feeling. As a detangling conditioner on my thick wavy hair, it's not the best. I needed a fairly heavy dose of detangling spray before I could work my comb through... But I have other conditioners that do that - and for a deep clean, this is a great product.

Nice, floral-scented detox conditioner
This is nice, floral-scented detox conditioner. The product is white, so it's free from dyes and other harmful ingredients. This conditioner leaves behind a soft, floral and ginger scent. My hair felt soft after using this product. The price is significantly higher per ounce than what I normally pay for conditioner.

Very Thick and Gentle
This conditioner was so thick that it wouldn't come out without me turning it on its side and putting full body weight on it to get some to come out. Then it blocked my shower drain and I had to use a drain cleaner to get it running again. This was soothing but not really cleansing for me. It made my hair straighter and helpful for any split ends.
