These boxes are good quality/appearance/price, but although 47 mm deep, there are various fittings and lugs on the inside that prevent accommodating a traditional transformer-isolated shaver socket. Sadly I had to return it.

I appreciate this sounds picky, but I wanted a low profile as it was to match an existing box that is actually 25mm. Otherwise standard back box which I am sure performs as expected. Unfortunately at this price its not worth the hassle of returning.

I needed to cut out large areas around the cable clamps to fit a shaver socket as they obstructed the transformer.

Worth the money

These boxes are fine for intended use but are EXTREMELY brittle. Knocking out the cable entry point can crack the box and screwing it to a surface too tightly can also crack the box completely in two - would prefer a softer more flexible plastic than whatever these are made of.
