Nice little phone holder
Great little piece and since I use about 6 different vehicles between my personals and work vehicles its very convenient to be able to switch with this. I have a Samsung galaxy 23 ultra.

A wonderfully simple minimalist design that functions well
My Airframe Pro is still looking and performing like new after six years and on two different cars. Seriously. Can it wriggle off the vent? Sure, if I pull at it...However, I can place my phone (Pixel 8 Pro) in it with one hand and remove it one-handed without any issue. The clamp fastens securely to both horizontal and vertical vents, and the grip on the phone itself is strong, considering the holder's tiny footprint. The spring-action clamp can hold phones wider and larger than mine with no problem, and installing it is stupidly simple...there is a button to open the vent clamp, and that's it.

A simple, reliable cell phone holder -- perfect for GPS, not so much for speaker phone
PROS: Easy to use -- nothing to set up or fidget with Versatile -- seems like it would fit any car's AC vent and any smartphone Sturdy -- holds your phone very securely; no wobbling or falling Attractive -- not as bulky as the suction cup type of holders and looks more streamlined CONS: Your phone blocks air coming out of the vent it's attached to, so you will get less AC/hot air as the case may be Speaker phone doesn't really work when you have the AC or heater on, because the air rushing past the phone's microphone will prevent the other person from being able to hear you A bit expensive for what you get; the list price is $50 -- yikes! I wouldn't pay that much for a phone mount, no matter how awesome it was. The Amazon price of $25 is about the upper limit of what I would pay for a device like this. I've tried to use a couple of different cell phone holders of the suction cup variety over the years, and have never been happy with any of them. The grips holding the phone in were never quite right, so my phone had a habit of slipping out while I was driving -- not good, especially when it fell by my feet and the pedals. Sometimes the suction cups would get so hot sitting in my car in the Texas heat that they would lose their suction and the whole mount would fall down. I've also seen the sticky pads that you can put on your dash to keep your phone in place, but those won't work for me because my dash is curved. This mount is great because it has none of the aforementioned problems, and it's super easy to use. You just clip it onto one of the slats of your AC vent and pull back the spring-loaded arms to fit your phone in. I have an old crappy smartphone and this holder fits my phone perfectly. I'm sure it would be able to hold any standard-sized smartphone on the market now. My only complaint, which is not a huge deal but is worth mentioning, is that if you have your AC or heater running and you want to talk on speaker phone, the other person will not be able to hear you because the sound of the air moving through the vent is right up next to the microphone of your phone. If your AC/heater was off, this wouldn't be a problem. I primarily wanted this mount to hold my phone so that it was visible while I used GPS directions, so this is only a minor concern for me. However, if you're wanting a phone mount that would let you talk hands-free while driving, you probably want to stay away from mounts that attach to your AC vents.

Totally worth the price
I tried several cheaper vent mounts, and none of them really worked. This one is much higher quality and works very well. It took a little time to figure out how to use it conveniently. Only one side extends to grab your phone, so to put your phone in with one hand you have to use that side of the phone to push that side of the mount open before setting the other side back into the mount. It holds on to the vent just with tension, so if you just pull your phone straight out it might take the mount with it, but you can avoid that by pushing your phone to the side that opens before you pull the phone out. It's got a strong grip on both the phone and the vent, so it's very stable. The vent grip has two perpendicular slots, a thinner one and a thicker one, which can fit different vents or vents that have vertical and horizontal slats. The vent grip and phone grip rotate, so you can mount your phone upright using either vent grip, change with side of the mount opens, or mount your phone landscape. The only problem I have is that my vents are recessed just enough that my dashboard limits what I can do with it, and tends to get in the way of connecting my charger - but that's more a limitation of my old car than of this mount. I also can't close the vents in this car, so I thought the temperature of the phone might be a problem, but so far it's been fine - I'm not sure if my case is helping with that.

I cannot believe that I am reviewing this product 10 years later. I was transferring into another car looking back at how long I’ve had this exact Kenu unit. It’s going 10 years strong. It still got great tension in the spring, fits onto various different cars and various different phones. Wanted to upload a quick video because this is a quality product that’s held up well.

What can I say? A great surprise in a small package. I have purchased five of these so far, one for myself and the rest for family members. It is very difficult to find a good car holder and near impossible to find a decent air vent car holder. So behold the Kenu Airframe+. I had to go for the plus model as I mostly use large 5.5 inch screen phones and the smaller Kenu Airframe is for standard phone sizes. The item is not cheap by any means, this has a recommended retail price of £29.99. I first came across this company on Amazon and judging by the reviews I decided to go ahead and take the plunge. For something so small it seems so expensive. When I opened the packaging the first thing that struck me was the quality, this little thing is very well made. The back of the item which has a revolving mechanism so you can use your phone sideways if you wish has a solid rotating click to it (quite satisfying actually). Please note this style of air vent holder will not fit every car as some manufacturers have very odd shaped air vents so please check this before you buy it. But saying that this will fit most cars. Once I chose my desired spot on my dash the Kenu Airframe+ slotted into my air vent perfectly. The left side of the holder widens out in an elastic motion so you can place your handset into the holder. When you release the arm it closes and holds the phone very strongly in place (this mechanism is quite nicely hidden in the holder). After taking quite a few journeys, the holder has never dropped out of my air vent once. I have quite a firm suspension on my car, I feel most bumps in the road but the holder has performed admirably. As I mentioned before you can rotate this holder 360 degrees and it will hold any phone securely at any angle. This is one of the items which is essential for drivers and for us to drive safely and responsibly. If you have a compatible air vent in your car I don't think you will find a better holder on the market. By the way, I have read some reviews of sellers selling fake versions of this item. If you want to be guarantee a perfect original item then buy direct from Amazon. If you found this review helpful, please click on the link below.

I've been using Kenu Airframe+ phone clamps for over 10 years in my cars. Though they're not cheap compared to other options from China, they actually work perfectly for year and they can be used in landscape and portrait mode. If you're looking for a phone clamp to install on the airvents of you car, this is by far the best solutions.
