KAT Percussion Drum Set (KT4-US)

Excelent drum set, it works perfect with EZDRUMMER 2 just what i wanted, I totally recomend this drum set to anyone. it has good factory kits sounds but i prefer using external software which is EZDRUMMER 2. If you are a person that wants to use ezdrummer 2 with an electric kit then this is the one KAT KT4. Great feel of the pads with a natural feel, and it looks nice. really easy to set up. Pads dont get dirty easily unless you play with your hands dirty oviously. All symbols are chokable.and u can assign midi notes to any pad of your kt4 when using ezdrummer 2. what i mean by this is that u can assign any tom or any symbol of ezdrummer to any pad or symbol of the KT4 which is awsome.The KAT KT4 does not come with the 4th Tom. I had to buy that separately. Other than that the Kat kt4 is awsome.I dont like to put down other drum kits and im going to feel bad for putting this bad comment about alesis DM10 but i just had to say this to you. I bought an alesis dm10 right before the KAT KT4 and i had to return the DM10 and here is my reason why. i finished setting up the alesis dm10 and i turn it on for the first time and out of no where when hitting the 3rd tom at the same time i would hear the ride together with the 3rd tom. and also i would hear random sounds without even hitting the pads and also the hi hat wouldnt open and close when using ezdrummer 2 and on the ride i would hear the hi hat when using ez drummer 2. have to say that the ALESIS DM10 has a great look and feel too but it just didnt work for me sorry alesis. But know Im so happy with the KAT KT4 i totally recommend it to you.

Amazing. Bought this after my Roland v-drums (TD-10) of 17 years died. They kt4 simply sounds wonderful. Nice open , resonant sounds from real drums , that can easily be dialed in to your liking. And by real drums I mean DW , GRETSCH & LUDWIG. And the cymbals....Wow....Zildjian , Sabian.... Awesome. Plus some great percussion from LP.The feel and response of the pads are as good as mesh heads (my opinion of course) , but the kick with the mylar head , nothing beats it. The pads are a generous 11 inches. The cymbals are nice a responsive. Only thing I had to tweak a little was the hi hat sensitivity (to my liking) and overall cymbal volume (lowered to my liking).I've been creating sets since I got this but it pretty much is usable right out of the box.The module is really simple to use and navigate as in I never once looked at the manual (yet).Plus these integrate seamlessly with EZ Drummer via USB to give you even more sound possibilities.Oh yeah , the rack , it's beautiful and solid.I am VERY happy and more than satisfied with this kit. Definitely top of the line and the price is down to earth. I mean shoot.....It even came with a nice hi hat stand. DW 3000 3 leg that swivels. But I bought the 2 leg version for easier placement of my double kick pedal. Even bought the matching DW 3000 double kick pedal. Plus , I highly recommend Kat's included kick beater. It's like a mini black tennis ball. The response of that and the mylar bass head are super close to the real thing.I highly recommend Kat's kt4!

Amazing set, very professional, and top-of-the-line. I gave it 4 stars only because as a new purchaser of electronic equipment, I was not made aware of additional purchases I would need in order to use this. There is an adapter you will need in order for the headphones to fit into the computer module, you will need headphones, a seat and another kick pedal. If you don't want to use the headphones, you will need to purchase speakers that have the proper dimension plugs to go in the computer module as well.I thought I was purchasing a $1,700 drum kit but I ended up spending $2,150 in total.

The KT4 is an excellent choice. Also have a KT2 in another location. Love the response from the heads. Much better than mesh heads, at least for me. I don't gig, just play for my own entertainment. Highly recommend the KT4.

Did not buy from Amazon, got a better deal from another source. I am extremely pleased with my KAT KT4 kit. Have owned and played many other electronic drum kits and this one blows them all away.
