Good USB 2.0 card
Card works fine. Hardware easy to install. CD had a ton of drivers on it and no instructions as to which one to install and no autorun program to lead you throught it. Had to explore the disk and find a folder that matched my PC and operating system and then find a setup program to install it. Software install could be better. Product works great once you get past the software install.

It actually works
I bought this card after buying several PCI cards to add USB 2.0, FireWire 400 and 800 ports to my Mac G4. I was attempting to squeeze more life out of my machine which I won't be able to replace for a few more years probably. As any G4 owner with a newer iPod has learned, there are only USB 1.1 ports on these computers. This wasn't a problem when iPods were FireWire based (the good ol' days). But when I replaced my old iPod with a new USB 2.0 model, I found my G4 took anywhere from 10 to 24 hours to sync with it.So this was the impetus behind my decision to buy several PCI cards to get a bunch more ports. Though, somewhat ironically, the USB card I bought (Sonnet Allegro) worked fine with everything EXCEPT my iPod. After transferring 60 to 100MB onto the iPod, I would get a message that the disk was unwritable! A few tests later, I determined that the card was the problem. The iPod just didn't like it.So I bought this USB card from ADS and now my iPod works, along with everything else!... I still prefer FireWire though. It's just plain better.

Does not work on G5
Nothing else to really state here....said it worked on a G5...it does not. It was so cheap that I cannot return or restock it without losing more money so now I have a useless PCIX card

The Jury is still out.
I bought this card for my Micron 1.2 GH Athlon based system running WinME. The on-board USB power supply craped-out on my motherboard and adding a card seemed a much simpler solution than replacing the motherboard. Based upon the other two reviews, I figured it was worth a try, especially considering the low price. After installing the card yesterday and attempting to install the software I am still not running after several hours of troubleshooting. The documentation and software that comes with this card is minimal at best. There is also very little information on their website. I emailed tech-support with a detailed description of my problem tonight we will see if they are any help. When I reboot the computer after installing the card, the system finds the new hardware, but after installing the software (drivers) and then rebooting, the system asks for a windows file "openhci.sys." Presumably this is a winME file but sofar I haven't been able to download an up-to-date file from Microsoft?More Later.

Not sure of compatibility
This USB 2.0 card was purchased because I have an older PC with USB 1.1 ports and needed 2.0 for my new MP3 player. Since it has so many ports and I only needed 1, I figured I'd used another port for another use. It turns out I have a Microsoft Wireless Keyboard/Mouse setup. The receiver is a USB unit. Naturally I thought I'd use this board for my keyboard & mouse. After I installed this card, everytime I power-up, I get a messaged from Windows saying that the O/S didn't find my keyboard! It then boots and finds both keyboard & mouse (both work through one receiver). Now, once the PC is booted and up, the MP3 player and software work just fine. So the problems only occur during boot time and then go away.

USB 2 add-on
I put this card into my 2001 G4 quicksilver, largely to accomodate my daughter's new iPod touch. It dropped right in, I did install some tiny bit of software from the Cd just to be thorough. It works perfectly. The iPod liked it, the cameras like it, it is a very worthy item to install in a computer that is pre-USB 2.I already had the D-Link hub and that plugged right in and works just great with it too.All in all, this is well worth the 20-25 bones just to plug in the iPod. A very good deal.

Excellent USB port Card for MAC's
The card was easy to install and my MAC G4 running OS 10.4 picked it with out a hitch. The extra ports have been a blessing on my MAC and the card has worked flawlessly. For adding usb ports to a MAC, this card is the way to go.

Great product
So easy to install, and if you need more USB ports this is the product to buy. Very fast and if you have available slot for card this is a must.
