Get the insurance
These cameras are mounted at the windshield which gets really hot in Southern California. The first cable melted at the connection to the camera. So I bought the insurance this time

Not simple to use !
Worked fine for awhile and then now have to reset after plugging it in every time ! But still working after 2 years .

Good camera but has problems
Camera works great but swivel screw that holds the camera in place from flopping around stripped out within two weeks of getting it.
