I didn't want to use the more basic looking bark you can buy, so I was really pleased to find Melrose bark products. I think it enhances anywhere you put it .. I've used it on the tops of pots and in garden beds of varying sizes. It is now my go-to product for bark.

Perfect for making 5-1-1 citrus potting mix

I use it for mulching my garden beds because where I live the usual bark chip mulches blow away when dry. The smaller particle size usually stays where it is put. The seller packaged it well and the product came in a dry condition demonstrating it had been stored correctly before sale.I have no doubt if the finer particles and dust were sieved out, the remaining product would also make a good medium grade bark suitable for growing orchids.
