I gave it 5 starts for lightweight, but they are NOT lightweight. If they were, they would be terrible bookends, but they are heavy like they should be, so that's why I gave it 5 stars. These are so pretty and keep everything in order on my desk. Love them.

They were just as pictured and fit in my library perfectly! They are sturdy and hold the books up very well. Overall a very good buy!

I was looking for bookends that represents writing a story. When I saw the typewriter bookends, it was just what I wanted. I love the nostalgic look. They are the perfect height and weight, and size. So far I have not had any problems with them sliding.

I’m a writer, and I’ve got these set up behind my desk where I can see them while I work.The books I have braced between them are tall and a little floppy (workbooks and literary journals, etc.); so while setting them up, they repeatedly knocked over one bookend over, making the process of setting the books up a little frustrating. But, it’s done, and I’ll try to remember to immediately push the ends together when I remove a book from between them to keep the remaining books and an -end from toppling over.4/5 stars.

Although I haven't used them as book ends just yet, I did add these typewriters to my bookshelf. They are the perfect addition to my office considering I'm an author. I had been looking on Wayfair for a set and figured I'd give Amazon a shot. Found them in stock and delivered quickly. Love how they look!

I love my new bookends! My house is decorated in a literary theme and these were perfect. They are sturdy and heavy enough to be functional, but also look beautiful. I personally enjoy the silver accents because it highlights the shape, but if you are looking for something entirely black, it's probably not this. Both ends look exactly alike.
