I did a lot of research before I purchased. I was downsizing from king to queen and looking for easy to assemble, sturdy, and simple design. I found this and love it! This bed was replacing a king bed that I spent 1500$ on that was moved 1 too many times. (by that I mean twice).The purchased arrived a day early, the color is mocha, and there was no damage to the product.I was very impressed with the packaging. There was an outer box that took the brunt of hits that happen during shipping. There was no damage to the interior box or components. The box was heavy so make sure to have help. There was a lot of Styrofoam but it was wrapped in plastic bags. So if it broke, it was totally contained (loved that)!I opened the box and place every piece the in appropriate place to make assembly easier. The instructions were pretty easy to follow. There were a few extra screws and washers. It took me about 2 hours to put together by myself. I am a little older so it takes me time to do things. I also had a couple breaks for a cold beer, not included with the purchase.I found everything fit and lined up as required. Here are a few of my thoughts1. Make sure to stretch out the slats and press the Velcro down. This will ensure it is secure2. The slats are about an inch from the top of the railing. I was hoping it was more recessed into the frame. My mattress is 12 inch. I think I would opt for an 8-10 inch mattress in the future. With it not recessed into the frame it is a bit to high for my taste.3. It feels very sturdy! However, (unfortunately) I can't speak to noise or sturdiness as related to adult activities.4. With my mattress being 12 inch, pillows will not fall between mattress and headboard. I don't think that would be an issue with an 8 inch mattress.5. I love that there are plenty of slats and they are close together. (sorry the picture is a little blurry)Overall I am very happy with the purchase and would recommend. Sam approved with a high 5. I love this solid Acacia wood bead frame and headboard. Breeze to put together and is very high quality solid wood. Highly recommend.

We were needing a new bed frame and I knew when I found one we liked I should order it. We did and ordered it on April 26. We just assembled it yesterday - August 4 - because we had to wait for new flooring to be put in our bedroom. When the bed arrived the box was in pretty good shape - normal scuffing and one small ding that barely pierced the outside cardboard. The frame weighs a little over 100 lbs, so my recommendation would be - if the cardboard is severely punctured - just refuse the delivery. I finally opened the packaging yesterday. I was impressed from the beginning. Once I had opened the outside box - heavy carboard - there was another box just inside that and it fit snugly in the first one - it was not damaged at all. When I opened the second one I was even more impressed! I hate opening packaging and having little styrofoam pieces immediately scatter themselves over the room. The styrofoam packing pieces were each sleeved in plastic! Wow, this company does a good job of setting customer expectations right up front!! As I separated the wooden pieces into piles for assembly, I was impressed again at how tightly the styrofoam and wooden pieces were packed together. From the inside pieces to the outside boxes, I felt that under normal freight handling this unit should never be damaged. I feel the manufacturer has taken precautions above and beyond to make sure the bed frame arrives in good condition. All the parts were in excellent condition and color matching to the online pictures was very good and the pieces all were excellently finished and the color matched. I was impressed by the tools and screws, etc, included in the set. I assembled the whole unit using the little ratchet they included. The bolts were all labeled nicely. The instructions were easy to understand and it was easy to match the number and letter stickers that were on each piece. The finished bed frame is very sturdy. No wiggle at all. The slats and the way they attach are very easy to install and finishes a strong system. I am totally satisfied and expect the unit will keep me that way for a long time.

This frame looks gorgeous, but the footboard of mine arrived with a huge crack. I saved for a long time to get this bedframe so I’m really disappointed about it coming broken. There’s no way I could package this frame back up and load it into my car so I have no way to return this or get a replacement.

Very easy to assemble. All the pieces seem to fit together very nicely and with zero wiggle. There's just the slightest green hue to the stain, which is strange to me since I thought this would be more of a smokey gray, but it's fine because my bedroom furniture is all mismatched anyway.We are using the king-sized frame for a split king, adjustable bases setup, so we are not using the slats or middle supports. Therefore, I cannot comment on how they hold up, but removing them from packaging they felt very solid as well.

So amazing that I ordered a second one for the spare bedroom! It looks great, is easy to assemble, and so sturdy. It is high quality at a great price!

This bed looks amazing but has NO strength in its frame. My husband reinforced it on all sides with more lumber and added more feet on the inner frame after realizing that the frame is kind of flimsy - more like a matchstick. He loved the look of the bed and so really wanted to make it work. Well despite all the reinforcing, after one year of use, the bread cracked on one whole side and broke. Many people have complained that it didn't even last 4 months. Ours at least lasted 1 year but that has more likely to do with all the reinforcements rather than the quality of the construction. This is not a cheap bed by any means!

This product looks great!Very sturdy, easy assembly and provides great support even without a box spring.

This is a beautiful Acacia wood bed. Both its color and structure are attractive and well-designed. But ... it was too small for our queen mattress despite being listed as a queen-sized bed. It was about .5 to 1 inch too narrow on each side. Big shock to us. Had to take it apart and pay Fedex to ship it back, which cost us CDN $299! An expensive mistake for sure. :-/ One we couldnt predict or see until we had put the bed together. So beware! We've now ordered a different solid wood bed but from a big box store this time, which promises to take it back at *no cost* if it turns out to be unsuitable.

The bed went together well and I like the Velcro on the bed slats keeping the slats stable and secure.

Easy to assemble and setup, solid wood. However, the colour was not as described, Carmel colour is too orange looking. I asked for some compensation for the scratches and they asked me to return the package which would have been too cumbersome.
