I buy most of my Mercedes parts at the dealer with a discount but decided to take a chance on these. Bought these for a Mercedes R350 that was sitting lop sided on the driver rear side. Removal of the old ones is very easy. Probably one of the most easiest repair on this vehicle.Removal: jack up the car. Remove the air hose from the suspension air shock. Compress the air shock to remove it from the vehicle. Note: there is a white. Lip on the top that will come off with the air shock and the new air shock will have these in the package. Also, there is an alignment tab on the bottom that fits into the vehicle frame that you must also align on the new shock.Install: install the white clip to the top of the shock housing as it is on the old one you just removed. place the new air shock where the old one was and make sure to align the tab on the bottom to the groove on the vehicle frame. Reconnect the air line to the air shock. Make sure the top and bottom are aligned to the vehicle and SLOWLY lower the vehicle.Note: your vehicle will supply air to the air shock immediately but sometimes may take about a day for the vehicle to become completely leveled. It takes time for the vehicle notice and monitor the height levels.

I've used OE or parts made in Germany for my Mercedes for last 20yrs. This is proof of much cheaper options that work just as well. Easy install work like originals so far. Will update if they fail.
