Close to 3”. It would work for regular Charmin rolls.

Q: Will it stick to a rippled shower glass door?

I believe it would stick to a rippled shower glass door. I would make sure the glass is clean and free of any soap scum before adhering the hooks. I used these in our camper shower and am very happy with them. Good quality.

Q: It says it doesn’t work well with painted walls , my walls in my camper are painted. Do you think it will hold?

Oh yeah!! Mine are like wallpaper, so if it holds on that, it’ll hold on paint, in my opinion.
