I selected this item because I had the Selphy wireless compact color printer and wanted to use it in several different locations that did not offer appropriate electrical supply. After searching and finding the battery the only thing I needed was the charger/ adapter for my Cannon. All the items needed to print from my camera chip, including the color ink and paper set, battery, cords, and charger adapter fit exactly into a soft carrying case made by Cannon. The big benefit from this addition is the instant reward of a completed photo regardless of where you happen to be located. For all the benefits the charger adapter opens it is essential to include in your portable photo developing activities. I have experienced no negative results since it came in September 2013.

Wasbi Power Charger Adapter for Canon printer
After using the charger one time to charge the Wasbi battery pack for the Canon printer, the battery die and wouldn't take a charge any more. I was sure if the charger cook it or the battery was defected. I just didn't trust it. Order the Canon brand for both charger and battery and have had no more trouble.Hersheal Thomas

Good deal
First one didn't work well but shipper replaced it and it is working fine. It feels a little more flimsy than the Canon product but, at 1/3 of Canon's price, I think it is a bargain!

Work great as a charger, however the plug did not fit my printer.

I've bought a lot of Wasabi products, and this is the first that did not work. I got it to use with my Canon CP910 printer so that I could print when away from a power outlet. I think this worked once ever. It doesn't work now. The cable is very finicky. It doesn't seem to charge or recognize the battery. Very sad because printing photos in interesting places would have been really fun.
