The device is fairly optimal - magnetic, elegant "interface" once you get the idea. Needs to be anchored on a magnetic surface like the fridge. If you spin the dial the outer ring and want to land exactly, then leave time between spins when near. If set to zero, will count upwards to give time cooked so far.

It’s very simple to use. Sometimes I scroll too far up and then too far back down but maybe that will improve with practice. The volume of the beeps is good for our house and not as harsh as the Salter one that this replaces. It sticks well on our oven and looks great.

The media could not be loaded.  I did like this timer. It’s a good size, attractive and easy to use and read. But. I just replaced the batteries (after 18 mos) and it will no longer let me set it. It just counts upwards! It has stopped being a timer !!

This is a very stylish, very simple to use and accurate timer. My only gripes with it are that the sound of the alarm when the timer has finished counting down isn’t loud enough. I was once using it to cook a casserole that I had in my oven. All the while it was cooking, I was listening to some music (at not a particularly loud volume). When the timer went off, I didn’t hear it and so the casserole burnt.The other gripe is that it would be so much better if it were made of metal rather than plastic. Because it’s made of plastic, it doesn’t feel terribly robust. It feels quite flimsy. I’m therefore conscious that it could quite easily break. Other than that, it’s a very good product.

The timer has two problems: 1. You have to hold the black base, which is 6mm tall while rotating the top silver section. There is only enough base to hold with your fingertips and sometimes you also touch the top section which makes it difficult to set. 2. The alarm is not that loud, even when set to full volume, so you need to take the timer into the room you are in, so that you can hear it.Other than that, it does a good job

Good visible digits telling time remaining. Would be good for poor sighted people. Good alarm sound on loudest setting . Standard batteries so handy for renewing when needed.

This timer looks very cool on our black fridge, which it grips firmly with it's magnetic foot. The knurled edge reminds me of the dials on my Olympus camera, very tactile and easy to use.The setting of the timer takes a little getting used to as it seemsto speed up the further you turn it- its easy to overshoot but if you do, pause for a second and then turn the dial back and its easy to get it right. Practice makes it much simpler.Nice clear timer display when the unit is working, and alarm is also loud but not intrusive.Very nice little timer.
