Works as promised. Works with one battery, does better with both..
It lasts for hours. I used it consistently for four hours straight. One thing I didn't consider though it adds a couple pounds to the weight of the overall camera with both batteries. My arms where exhausted. Well worth it. So many great shots are lost on switching batteries.

Great product and great quality, worth it.
I love portrait photography and this helped me hang on to battery life longer. Worth it, I’m excited to keep using this for every shoot. It also gives my camera a more professional look. I’m not a professional I just enjoy taking nice photos of friends and family.

Works Good
The only thing I don't like is the remote wire that plugs into the side of the camera. This could easily be broken of inside the camera if hit hard enough. Other than that it feels good in your hand and for the money is worth every penny. You can't shoot any meaningful video on a DSLR without running out of power. But using this allows Live View and extended Video to be shoot. It does add a significant amount of weight that ended up making my handheld video stabilizer not work because it put the camera over the max weight limit.

Price for product
At first I was skeptical if I’d like this battery grip at all since I’ve never owned one before and wow I can I honestly say I LOVE using this thing it has been a absolute game changer for me. I shoot portraits often and use this regularly when I’m out doing portrait shoots, the grip feels great, the extra battery length time is amazing and even a simple thing like storing the clip inside the battery grip was a great idea. 5/5 highly recommend this product.

For the price it’s ok but the picture button at the bottom doesn’t work and the on and off button on the front of the grip doesn’t work either, but for 20$ it does it’s job. Oh and I didn’t even try the remote but I would emagine it’s not what you spending 20$ for in this buy.

The battery grip feels sturdy and works as expected. The remote on the other hand doesn't seem to work at leak on my nikon d3100
