This laptop came in like new condition, no hints of wear in any way. Windows was activated already, no fuss. Updates took a while, but that was to be expected. I’ve had some issues getting it to read the finger print scanner (that I didn’t even know it had when I bought it, so not much of a loss )It’s a quick, functional, laptop an absolutely worth the value.

This laptop came to me NOT factory reset. It still had the former owners sign in screen needing a password instead of the normal setup screen.. I went into recovery mode via F11to do a total format but instead it popped up with an error. "Needs repair. Device missing components. Return to manufacturer for repairs". The manufacturer is HP which I love. However this is not their mistake. I have NEVER ordered a refurbished anything before and I NEVER will again. What a joke.

Really nice laptop in excellent condition. The laptop came with 16gb ram but was only advertised as having 8gb .Also the screen resolution is 1920 by 1080 ,so that was a welcome surprise.

I was looking for a laptop for my 89-year-old mother to replace her Dell Inspiron whose screen hinge broke for no reason or provocation -- a known issue with those laptops. Mom does email, some online shopping and a little web surfing so I didn't need to get her the newest/greatest/fastest/strongest, just a clean, nearly new laptop physically similar enough to the Dell that I wouldn't have to do much "retraining" on its use. This HP has filled the bill nicely. It set up easily and I was able to port mom's apps and data from the Dell and off she went.The computer we received was very clean cosmetically, you wouldn't know it was a refurb it is so clean. My only ding, and the reason for the four stars, is the AC adapter. It is apparently not an OEM AC power supply and the connector on the end doesn't fit this machine so it came with an adapter. Fine, it works, but it makes a rather precariously long "stick" that hangs out of the side of the laptop when it is plugged in, making it a bit more susceptible to being hit when moving something around the laptop.In short, this is a decent machine ... I am thinking I should get one for myself to replace my own very old but still functional laptop!

For a used laptop I expected some signs of use there were none. It runs fast and set up took minutes. Also the seller include extra ram at no additional cost. It also arrived two days early. I’m pleased for the money spent and I’d buy from this seller again. Highly recommended. Also I’m using this laptop for school not gaming.

Charged it the first time, it stayed charged for two days. Charged it a second time and now it won’t run without being plugged in

I bought this computer from this company outside of Amazon, which is something I NEVER do. Immediately after, subscriptions for a computer service appeared on my credit card associated with this account. Had to cancel the card because they refused to refund me, bearing in mind the person on the phone appeared to be outside the US. More than 10 attempts were made to login to my email, also associated with the Amazon account. After making a complaint with Amazon, again the person on the phone appeared to be outside the US, the behaviour continued. Had to eventually change my email and credit card to stop these unusual attempts to get into my account. Have anyone else had this same issue with this company. Please notify Amazon.
