It a good WIFI and Local LAN router for home and excellent technical supports - Port Forwarding.
I bought AX-1500 to replace Charter's renting wifi router which I had been using for 7 years. The purchasing of of the AX-1500 would paid off one year as a renting of Charter wifi router. Next 6 years it would be free to have the wifi router. I just had a port forwarding issue and contacted tech-support of Azores by email. I received responses from the supports team within a day. I was able to communicate with the support team several time a day for past 3 days to figuring out and resolve the issue. It turned out to be it was my remote device that was NOT configured properly. When I corrected port numbers properly, the port forwarding on the AX-1500 worked right away. Therefore, AX-1500, DOES have port forwarding capabilities and works well. By the way, if you using Safari on IOS devices, port forwarding and DMZ would NOT be showing. If you use Chrome browser on IOS devices, those two item would show up. I am very satisfied to have the AX-1500.

New to Wifi 6
What a great router. I was worried at 1st because I never heard or this brand but once I got it and hooked it up it was smooth sailing. I had a netgear router before this one( it wasn't wifi 6) and after about a year it started to mess up. The ethernet ports started to go out the wifi was spotty and had to keep resetting it. It wasn't a high end netgear but I payed close to $90 for it to mess up so quick I said I had to find a cheap one, but this is far from cheap in my opinion. Price wise it was fare but what you get is like a high end piece of equipment. It was easy to set up and kicked in right away. If there is any downside from my view is its extremely light. While setting it up a tapped it a bit by mistake and it flew a bit before I caught it mid air. All in all a great buy.

Unit did not Work
Unit was very easy to install; however, it didn't function. Our IPhones indicated the Azores unit existed but none of the apps would open because there was no signal from the Azores unit. Installed the Azores app and put in the password but still no wi-fi signal. Had to return the unit.

Easy to set up mesh networking
I purchased 2 single router units because I was able to get them at a better price than the 2 unit Mesh package. Setting up mesh was fairly simple. The advanced settings page has a router mode option to switch between AP (default for the singe unit), Master AP, or Slave AP. Once the devices restart, the mesh network works as expected.I configured both routers offline while my old router was connected to the modem and still serving internet to the rest of the family. When I got ready to switch, I just rebooted my modem with the Azores master AP connected and everything was working on the mesh network within a couple minutes.Pros:*Set up is simple.*Single units can be configured for mesh networking as either slave or master. Mesh can be easily expanded.*4 Ethernet ports per unit. Most mesh routers I've looked at only include 2 ports per unit.Cons:*Missing port forwarding. I misread the seller's response when someone asked about this feature, but I need this feature for some of my applications.*Android app is an APK download. Must bypass Android warnings about installing apps from unknown sources.*Default configuration is to use Wi-Fi password as the administrator password in the router. This can be browser interface, but the mobile app still uses the Wi-Fi password for access. Any family member with the Wi-Fi password would have admin access if they download the mobile app.*Faster internet speeds over Wi-Fi than my previous AC router. My "gigabit" cable internet usually gets about 900 Mbps download. My old router would top out around 500 Mbps when a speed test was performed over Wi-Fi. I'm now getting about 700 Mbps over Wi-Fi on average.Overall, these routers seem to perform well and provide affordable mesh Wi-Fi for networks that don't need advanced configurations. It would be well suited to my aunt's house that is very spread out. They currently have 3 wireless access points with low-end routers that don't hand off the signal when walking across the house. For me, the port forwarding is essential. I will be returning these routers unless I can convince my aunt to buy them from me.

Fast and easy. Buy!
Bought this router to see if a previous purchase of. Tenda mesh router was causing the slow speeds in my internet. A speed test of the Tenda averages 40mbps. This unit replaced it with is giving me the 115mbps, and the same range. It also has the newest security protocols that the Tenda did not. It’s a great value at this price and provides the throughput I was expecting. Anyone interested in a slow Tenda unit?

Electrical short
I have never heard of this company before so I decided to give them a try. I got the product quick, set up was easy and the signal was great. I gave a speed check and everything was on point. My only problem I had was that after 2 days the product started to make electrical sounds from it. As if a resistor or something was shorting. I didn’t want to take the risk of it starting a fire and burning my house down. I returned it the next day. I guess you get what you pay for.

Great Value & Performance
A non-nonsense router that looks and performs great. The app made it extremely easy to set up and even the Verizon guy gave me a compliment on the speed it was delivering.

Easy set up, great signal strength
I bought this to update the wi-fi security since this unit has the latest. I live in a one bedroom apartment and this unit is in the bedroom. In the photo, you can see I've located it next to my big screen TV. There is NO signal interference at all and I get a clear strong signal in the front room. I use an Apple Mac Mini ( 2018 ) in the front room as a "home theater" system connected to a big screen TV. This router is kind of small and the antennas are built in. Very simple installation and set up. I simply unplugged my old router and plugged this one in. My computer recognized it immediately. The rest is history!
