I did a lot of research into these types of hose and chose this one because the sheathing around the rubber hose seemed thicker. It's certainly a lot thicker than my neighbours which apparently cost a similar amount. I went for the 75 feet version because I needed something that would reach all the way to the front garden (tap at the back) and out across the drive in case I ever want to hook it up to my pressure washer to clean the car. It extends as expected, like a black creepy snake, and works really well. There's no doubt the brass connectors are much better than plastic ones. When fully pressurised the hose contains a fair amount of water. I watered some plants in the back garden and then turned off the tap. While operating the hose gun, to empty the hose, there was a huge amount of water still coming out, considerably more than I put on the plants. Next time, as soon as the hose is fully pressurised I'll immediately turn off the tap and just use the water in the hose. Also, to work properly you need to fully pressurise the hose. As soon as you start using the hose the pressure reduces and the hose starts to shrink. I don't think these hoses would be good for anything that doesn't have constant pressure but as a replacement to an old fashioned garden hose it's great.

Now on my third different hose & this by far the most robust product I’ve experienced. Others have either been out of failures or developed leaks quickly. This model is larger diameter hose but still collapses to save space. Handle is plastic but working well so far and doesn’t feel flimsy, Finally got a hose I’m happy with.

Leaks at the tap end, tried changing around but still leaks, seems faulty but cannot send back.

At last one of these hoses with an inclusive fitting for a UK outside tap, this deserves 5 stars just for that! Just unscrew the the top piece of the fitting on the hose and the UK fitting is revealed underneath. As mentioned before there is a trick to fitting the included spray gun so I had to pull down on the fitting and then it goes in easily. I highly recommend this product.

Prodotto di ottima fattura, tubo allungabile molto resistente.Niente a che vedere con i tubi allungabili che si trovano al supermercato ( già me ne sono esplosi due).Mai un problema con questo tubo da giardino, nonostante venga utilizzato in piena campagna.

Also das ist der 2. Schlauch dieser Art. Beim ersten hat nach ein paar Jahren das Anschlussstück spontan angefangen zu lecken. War aus Kunststoff. Dachte ich kauf was aus Metall. Heute ausgepackt, ha das ist eloxiertes oder nur lackiertes Alu! *lach* aber es ist stabil. Mal sehen ob das länger hält. Der "Haken" zum aufhängen ist wiederum aus Kunststoff statt aus Metall wie in der Beschreibung. Aber auch der macht einen stabilen Eindruck. Dafür finde ich die beigelegte Tasche toll. die kann ich bestimmt fürs Camping oder so gebrauchen:-)

Bon rapport qualité-prix. Paraît être de bonne qualité, voir à l'usage mais remplie bien sa fonction, rangement facile.

It really does expand when filled with water but contracts to a compact size when empty which is good for storage. Great quality and good price.
