3 Pair Black Medium Replacement Silicone Ear Tips for Sony MDR-EX51LP Fontopia Headphones

One really bad thing about the Sony in-ear buds is that the tips come off from time to time, and the replacements are quite expensive (actually they're not too bad except for the fact that you have to buy sets where only one pair fits). These 10 replacements are even cheaper - half the price of the one set (plus two that don't fit) from Sony. They just arrived in a paper mailer - no bag in which to keep the tips. They feel and work like the originals. Agree with the other reviewer, they take a small bit of effort to get on, so maybe they won't come off as easily. I can't think of any reason to get the Sony tips over these.

The reason I gave 3 stars is that the openings in the ear tips are wider in circumference than the original Sony ones. So, the little base response I had before was significantly reduced. The material they are made of seems a bit thinner than the originals too, so when I'm at the gym they have to be adjusted a little more than before. I also noticed that they didn't cancel outside noise as well as the originals did. I really don't want to nit pick though, since this isn't an original Sony replacement. Plus, you can't complain for the price and quantity you get. But if you want the sound you're used to buy the Sony replacements or a new pair of earphones.

I always lost my initial ones i got from Sony w/the headphones. They'd fall out if i'd put it in my pocket, jacket, you name it. These are cheap and they work just as well. Very comfortable. They're a TINY bit tricky (tighter) to get on the headphones, but they fit perfectly. (they're probably harder to lose as a result, too)

Fit great, wear great, not distinguishable from the originals. I would purchase these again, especially since I loose them constantly!
