Still working 7 months later
I have a 1997 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am, would work on a Camaro as well. I regret just pulling the plug on the sensor instead, since that is free...would have no negative consequences...

Didn’t fix the issue
My old coolant level sensor would work sometimes then suddenly I would get a light on the dash saying “low coolant level” after checking the level I found that it was always full. The repair manual says to replace the sensor to fix the issue. There is nothing else I can do to fix the dash light except to purchase another sensor in the hopes I get a good one.

Correct fitment for the car
The part was the correct one and arrived on time as stated for the delivery. The 'low level coolant' warning is no longer on and the sensor seems to be operating properly..... time will confirm if the old sensor (original factory one .. 26 years of operation!) was the defective reason the light would flash on and off at random times. It was difficult to install the sensor due to the restricted access to the location. Some silicone O ring lube, a long screwdriver for leverage and a dental tool to snap the lower spring retainer in place made the AMAZON purchase a success!

Works after the vehicle gets warm
Didn't clear the light but the wiring is good up to the sensor, as unplugging it clears the light but when the vehicle starts to warm up it works

Installed in 2001 Impala 3.4L. Coolant light went off, time will tell how it holds up.
Easy to install in 2001 Impala, popped the passenger headlight out and it was straight forward. Bunch of coolant spilled out but just topped it up afterwards. Coolant light went off, we'll see if it actually holds up.

Buy American/Canadian to be sure it fits!
Did not fit my Buick and I thoroughly checked it out before purchasing it. Such is life and waste of money. Plus guess where it was made ?
