You get what you pay for, and a little more. Inexpensive for a starter acoustic, it really does have a nice sound and is fun to play. My wife and I bought is so she could start learning; a great investment!I give it five stars, not because it is the best guitar I've ever played, but because for the price, Yamaha has done a nice job with this instrument.Details:-Action is a little higher than some more expensive Yamaha models, but easier than my Seagull-Spruce top gives the guitar a nice clean sound. With the strings it comes with, it can sound a little on the twangy side, but if you swap them out for some Elixir lights, in really pulls the warmth out of the body.-Nice smaller size and a narrow fretboard makes it easy for my wife to play that dang F chord.In sum, if you're looking for a guitar to travel with or something to get acquainted with the world of acoustics, this is an excellent choice.Cheers and happy tunes!

This is such a sweet guitar!!! A little less volume than a dreadnaught, but clear and ringing. Great for singing along with unplugged. VERY highly recommended!!!!
