Great Energy Efficient Dryer with a lot of options.
I have been quite a sceptic about tumble dryers in the past as I've heard a lot of negatives about them, how expensive they are to run and that they don't dry your clothes properly and damage them. However things have moved on since then and this Hoover Dryer is a perfect addition and time saver to my home.First of all, it's quite energy efficient, (it has A++ rating) making it relative to things we use already. Also it has a large drum so you can fit pretty much anything you like there. Drying a duvet quilt in the past was always a hassle and we could only do it in the summer. Now, it fits perfectly in the dryer and there's even a dedicated option for washing quilts.Another thing I would like to mention is the connectivity to the internet. Not only it gives you options to diagnose and synchronise your dryer, but also it lets you start it remotely while you're away from home. Handy feature is also the fact that you get a notification on your phone when the cycle is finished, so if you have it in the garage, you don't have to go and check on it to know when your washing is ready.Overall I am quite pleased with it and would definitely recommend buying it.

Amazing dryer !!
The most valuable thing in my house in recent days! It looks great and the benefits it gives are great. The water tank is extra, you empty it quickly and you can see how much water is already available. The dryer will tell you how to change the water and clean the filter. I already have selected programs. And with children it is a big plus. I am very happy. Adapts to the weight of the clothes you put on. Time is relative. I really recommend! Especially now in the fall and winter season. I don't know how could I live without it ?! An added bonus is that it is energy efficient!

Good basic machine
This is a good bottom of the range heat pump machine. I love that its super energy efficient and has a big drum. I like the easy to get to water collection on the door which you can easily see how full it is. The main dashboard is fairly simple to use and has plenty of settings for drying clothes which is great. The dry cycles are all fairly long as its heat pump so takes longer to dry (average 3 hours) but the clothes have all been dry when the cycles have finished. However, where the water collection is on the door, the door gets a lot of condensation which needs to be wiped off if not used daily to prevent mould. Also when the machine is on, condensation builds up around the door on the outside and needs wiping off. If i was to store this in a closed or small room, i would be concerned that it would contribute to mould and mildew. Condensation also builds up around the bottom of the seal so i've found myself using a dry cloth to wipe the machine over during and after the dry cycle which is a pain.Despite this, the clothes are dry and feel lovely. It works well and is a good value for money option.

Doesn't dry towels.
Clever design with the water tank in the door. Very quiet. WiFi bit works okay.HOWEVER.It's a 10kg dryer which won't actually dry towels. Had a half load of towels that had been on a 1400 spin. Cleaned the filter thoroughly. After putting on for 3 cycles 12hours. The towels are still damp. It's always been like this. I managed to get around by never putting more than one towel in at a time. But I've had enough. I paid a premium for energy efficiency, but the reason it's so energy efficient is it Is as effective at drying as a hamster blowing on a towel from the other side of a banquetting hall.Never have I been so disappointed in an item. I would avoid. Or go for a condensing model.

Happy with my hoover!
This is Amazing!I'm so happy with my hoover helper! With 2 kids, it was realy a struggle to dry laundry at home. Now it's a easy and pleasant process. What's is another positive thing about it, that's we didin't really noticed a difference in our energy usage. We've got a smart meter and we can compare how it was before we bought hoover dryer and how is it now.I really like the thing that when laundry is dry quicker, the dryer switches off itself what is great energy saving!Highly recommended by mom of two!

Energy efficient but poorly made
This is probably one of the cheapest heat pump dryers you can buy but its still not that cheap, unfortunately it feels like corners have been cut to get a heat pump into a dryer this price.Performance wise it's pretty good, it uses about 500w as it runs which is much much less than a conventional condenser dryer, it does take 30-50% longer than a conventional dryer but the energy savings make sense all considered. That's where the benefits stop really, when running it sounds like there's a small drummer banging on the drum every rotation even when unloaded, everything you touch or use feels cheap or is generally unhelpful. The water tank door seems like a good idea but it's a cheap plastic bucket held on with very shoddy hooks that are difficult to line up, the water is fed in by a rubber pipe that just sticks out of the machine like they forgot to design something to cover it, the lint filter is flimsy and feels like it will break if you look at it funny. The interface and controls are equally unhelpful, the LCD shows few characters and constantly scrolls, it's also bright red like a 1980s digital alarm clock. The dial feels tacky and the icons are unhelpful. There are several programmes which are also unintuitive, you have no idea what heat level you are getting and the time estimate is usually wildly wrong. It has wifi but the app is awful, it crashes randomly, its ugly and unintuitive, notifications on the cycle are massively delayed and all round it's useless. The guided drying feature tells you to use programmes that don't make a lot of sense such as "whites" for towels so the whole experience is just confusing as you have to make these associations. In summary, it performs pretty well but using it is a chore and I get angry just looking at it.
