It actually works
Its flimsy and lightweight compared to other options. Only you know if you need something more robust or not. It works well, though, and the links stay connected. The glossy color is a little strange for what it's intended for.

A good inexpensive all purpose chain link for horticultural/garden use.
Its the inexpensive brand and it works well in the garden. Durable and easy to use.

It works and is really easy to use
I had to tie up branches on my arbor vitae because they were bent down from a sudden snow storm. This cable works really well and is very easy to use. I also have enough to tie my roses to the trellis and it doesn't injure the canes on the roses. I do not know how sturdy it is but will find out when the wind starts blowing hard.

Versatile and useful with plants, shrubs, and Christmas decorations
I've used it to shore up sagging branches of some small trees and shrubs as well as bind the legs of bent branch reindeer. It stretches, so not as useful for staking larger trees, but useful to support and train shrubs and small trees.

Very thin and not good for larger trees.
The product was thin and easy to break apart. Not very sturdy to hold larger trees.

Must have for planting new trees
We have used ties in the past but were introduced to this product during a tree planting community service project. We bought it to put in new trees in our yard and it is great. We have used the stakes with rope in the past and that worked too but it was a lot of hassle for lawn mowing around the new trees. This is easy to use and then adjust as the tree grows. We planted 9 tiny trees and have a bunch left so one roll goes a long ways. I guess we need to get more trees to plant to use up the rest!

Breaks too easy in high winds.
Sadly this product did not work very well. It was somewhat stretchy and easy to apply when you need a good fit however, in higher winds above 30mph where the wind would push the 5' trees over the straps would just snap.

Good design but poor quality soft material.
This product is similar to others that look exactly the same. However, this material is soft plastic, not the rigid durable polyethylene like others. It is OK for tying up light plants like rose bushes but useless on small trees. I used a previous product which seemed as strong as cable and have tied up trees 3 inches in diameter. This stuff just stretches out under load. Pretty useless. Unfortunately I bought 100' and it is over the Amazon return time so live and learn. Should have inspected it closer upon arrival. Would not recommend this product.
