I have sciatica and the wrong chair can literally be crippling, reducing me to crawling on my hands and knees for up to two weeks. Up until now I've had to bring a special lumber pillow with me wherever I go, especially on camping trips as fabric-based chairs intrinsically have a concave curve. The XGEAR chair provides perfect lumber support for me and it's easy to adjust. Even better, the adjustments held in place.I can't say how durable the chair is yet, as its only gone on one 8-day trip - but it seems to be very well constructed.The only caution; the chair takes up a TON of space when folded and bagged - more than our 9x9' tent, about 50% more space than a "regular" folding chair and three times the mini folding versions. That said, if you have the room and the budget this chair is totally worth it. The difference in cost between the XCHAIR and a regular folding chair is about the cost of one chiropractic appointment in my area...

This is by far the most comfortable folding chair we have ever owned. The lumbar support feature is fantastic. The back of the chair has the perfect amount of tilt to it as well. We would definitely purchase again.

Easy to fold and carry around.

We got this for my dad, and the 5th time he sat in it part of the closing bits broke and its stuck open.Other than that he loves it and its super comfortable.

Quality is very strong. Size is great and the lumbar adjuster has been the best thing I have had on a chair. Higher for resting head and I can actually go to the beach and camping in comfort.

We wanted chairs that have a head rest and that are sturdy. These have those requirements covered. They’re also easier to get out of than other similar chairs we’ve owned.For putting the chair back into the carry bag, it would be great if there was a Velcro strap to hold the folded chair closed.Definitely would recommend this chair.

The media could not be loaded. I’d say about a month after having it the left arm hinge on the back started giving way. It eventually led to a failure of the entire arm as there are two screws that aren’t actually screwed in but pierced through the metal under the fabric. So eventually they pulled out. It’s almost impossible to put them back. Don’t buy this chair.
